Nichts.
You can get to meet people with different culture background, and some open-minded professionals. Good parties (sometimes)
Too many. Not recommended, especially for students who is just out of colleague, or someone who has a little bit working experience.
Review their product, shift their focuses, Change their culture and management
If you and your team member get along it is fine. But some people really demotivate you, they claim they are busy, but you see they are browsing on the internet, watching youtube shows 80% of the work time. These people really de-motivate you instead, especially when they actually get a compliment by managers who has no clue.
Sometimes the Media report is not always correct
There are some comments here saying that if you say Work Life Balance in the office out loud, you will be pretty much done. This is very true. You will probably be remembered by the manager as 'not doing a good job'; and you can forget about salary increase or career development during the time when you are there, even if you are doing your job, improving within a really bad environment; the performance review is very subjective and not transparent. People who sit on the desk working full 8 hours (stick with break time of 1 hour), is never good enough comparing someone who work 1 hour, spend other working hours walking around, browsing internet, claim to be very busy, then delivered something after 7pm or 8pm in the night (which probably only take 20 mins to do). It really depends on how you want to 'play' it.
No career for you, unless you are a 'player' and knows how to get along with one of the important person in higher management level
The performance review and salary increase, job title changes are very subjective.
The business is pretty unethical, by lending crazy interest rate loans to poor people, no matter how they marketing themselves, these are the facts. Not to mention social awareness.
Most colleagues are very open minded, and supported each other when there are hard time.
There are not so many elder colleagues; but with the atmosphere, I do not see they can adapt to this place.
There are a few good bosses, who actually care about the staff development, and about the daily work. These kind of bosses are getting less and less. Mostly employees having a feeling that they only care how their image is in front of C-levels. Competent bosses, who really want to make a change, and has the ability to do so got too frustrated and left, so are competent employees.
coffee machine, and fruits available
It is a company with very diversified culture. Sometimes it is culture related, sometimes it is about some men can not stand to be told what to do by a woman, sometimes it is about management level do not care what your difficulties are, they just need result, no time to care or to support. So even if you tried your best at lousy working environment, you only get a superficial thank you (no salary increase, no title change, no fair valuation of your treatment) when you decided to leave, so that there won't be a bad reputation or image for them, or a potential lawsuit. But, the general communication between normal colleagues are good
They probably do not know what Equality is. You hear, and see so many unfair things happen to people. If you want to earn your equality, you better play along.
It really depends on which department you are working for. For this rated department, not so much, all pretty standard work, just very difficult to make it happen due to people and technical issues.
Fruit in the break room. Good coffee machine.
Pretty much everything else.
Find a new line of work.
People do move to get things done.
They put a very good image up, but after leaving, every recruiter I spoke to mentioned that all the candidates they see from Kreditech have nothing good to say about the company.
You won't last long if you say the words "work-life balance" out loud in this office.
None, unless you're good friends with a C-level.
They balk at paying a fair wage, and if you do manage to negotiate a respectable salary for your experience, you can expect that to be held against you for the duration of your tenure.
Social awareness: this one gets negative points. These guys make their business by kicking poor people when they are down. Don't expect them to be anything other than greedy fiends.
If you are from Ukraine, you'll do fine, because there's a tight group here fighting to keep hold of the CTO, covering up the fact that they're one of the worst development teams - ever. If you're not, then keep your head down and just do what you're told.
If you have good experience and are competent at what you do, you won't be welcome. About the only people who are, are college kids who are don't know anything and will just do as they're told.
C-level management are unable to accept advice from competent, experienced people. During my tenure I saw three good people come and go within a matter of weeks. Dunner-Kruger is in full effect here.
Very pretty office, good coffee machine, etc. - which, for a company that has no on-site customers, is an enormous error that sets off a burn rate which will chew through funding with amazing velocity.
Upper management will routinely lie and backstab in order to maintain facvored status with the incompetents at C-level. Don't even bother trying to improve things.
Setting up a new lending platform and dealing with the various legal issues is certainly interesting. The business model is thoroughly unethical (payday loans), but interesting, sure.
over 120 extremely cool, smart, skilled people working for a big vision, so successfully, that it got investors from all over the world to invest 40mn USD.... what more to say?
Lazertag, Worldcup Public Viewing or Sports, many things are offered
Employee Development Program
Most amazing team ever!
The young, international team; the atmosphere andcolleagues and how we are collaborating; events; tasks, responsibility
Pressure from management, lack of structure, lack of workforce in the supporting areas
Communication need to be worked at; structures and processes don't need to be the loss of culture!
I enjoy working with Kreditech, the atmosphere is great! There are really fun team events and teammeetings for the whole company on a regular basis.
This is not a 9 to 5 job, but you enjoy a lot of freedom and it's a fun place tp work.
Economical thinking yes, social no.
Career is possible, interns are almost always employed fulltime afterwards. There is no hr development yet, feedback processes to be set up.
Collaboration with colleagues is great, everybody is helpful and open.
Direct boss is great, one level above a lot pressure giving, not motivating. Ability for discussion and conflicts can be improved.
Just great!
Processes for communication are not set, information is partly only given when asked for or found out accidently, sometimes too late. Information about strategy did I never hear so far, which would make work easier.
I'm satisfied with my salary. Plus sponsored Proficard or gym, fruits and drinks for free, fun room :)
Apart from age we couldn't be mixed more!
Soon own responsibility, active participation valued, working on your own required
International, Community, Flat Hierarchy, Fancy Office, Interesting Tasks, High Responsibility as Intern
Ich wollte ein intensives Praktikum bei Kreditech absolvieren, dementsprechend habe ich im Gegensatz zu den anderen Praktikanten nicht viel Freizeit gehabt.
Social Events & Fun Room
Teamspirit, Community & Social Events
fancy office, free coffee, own desk
leicht Überdurchschnittliches Startup Gehalt, kostenlose Bahncard
challenging tasks
Vision, fast moving, open and supporting culture. Work hard, play hard.
Needs more communication and institutionalised feedback
Great team spirit, casual activities every week, table tennis, fruit basket, ...
Bright shining star!
Who cares about work life balance when you are building one of the best eCommerce businesses worldwide?
Lots of teaching, training and support
Great team. Work hard, play hard.
Age does not make a difference
Extremely open communication and team spirit. Could improve on regular, institutionalised feedback
Great office in great location, with a view on the harbour
Needs to work on open, institutionalised feedback processes
Good startup salaries. Could always be better, but there are plenty of worse companies
Lots of women in senior positions. I guess a few female executives would help...
Exciting, fast moving company. Lots of learnings at any level.
Great people, interesting work tasks and being involved in a start up company that will change the finance industry.
Nothing, honestly such a great company to work for!
Toaster in the kitchen!
Work hard, play hard! Very smart and dedicated team focused on changing the finance industry!
One of the top start-ups in Germany!
Always something fantastic to do!
Definitely a family feel to the company, great bunch of people from around the world who are always up for a drink after work.
Definitely a team environment where supervisors help you to learn and encourage you to grow. With so much to do it is amazing how well clear and realistic goals are set.
Fantastic office in the Hafen-city with all the start up gadgets!
In such a small company you always have the opportunity to speak to management and the rest of the team. The team at Kreditech actively try to ensure that everyone is included.
The work is extremely interesting and rewarding. Working in a company that is growing so rapidly means there are always new areas and tasks were you can get involved. Not to mention that this space will change the finance world completely in the next few years.
Freedom, responsibility, merit-based and data-driven culture
Great office atmosphere, it's a place that is fun to be at
Do your job well and leave in normal hours; some overtime expected, but nothing too onerous.
Everyone is open and ready to help.
Very supportive management; if you can justify the need, you will get showered with resources. They trust people to do their job; you will not get micromanaged.
Swanky neighborhood, all the equipment you can ask for
There is great freedom to iterate and innovate within your position; hard to see this anywhere but a startup
The work environment is challenging and enjoyable. Challenging, because you find yourself dealing with different tasks everyday; enjoyable, because all this gives you big satisfaction and happens in a friendly and honest environment.
Definitely the best working atmosphere I have ever had. Sometimes it does not even look like I'm going to work!
I am definitely proud to work in a totally honest company which is growing impressively.
The best Work-Life balance I have ever had; even if sometimes the workload can be huge, we always have time for our lifes.
Career opportunities in the company are really nice, both because you learn a lot (switching from a task to the other and gaining not only working knowledge but also flexibility) and because there is the chance to be employed permanently.
The salary is definitely satisfactory (in line with the same positions' salaries).
The company is not expressely committed to sozialbewusstsein but their business is definitely helping lot of people who could not get access to the services in other ways.
Colleagues are definitely one added value in the company. There is a very nice international environment and cooperation for working is always efficient.
There is not a precise rule about it, but until now I have never met a fellow 45+ here.
Generally the work environment is very peaceful and relaxed. In the rare case of conflicts, supervisors are never acting as "superiors" but more as friends, so solving all the possible troubles in one second.
The offices are extremely nice. Perfect, nothing to complain about.
Yes, I always receive precise instructions about what to do, and in case of problems I can always go to ask directly to the superior (that is something really rare in other companies!)
It is the most "equal opportunities" company you can imagine. Lot of nationalities, both males and females equally split and not at all differences in career advancement depending on any of these factors.
Workload can sometimes be huge, but always well distributed and extremely fascinating as characteristic of a start-up (in which you need multi-task skills and flexibility).
So verdient kununu Geld.
