Colleagues are really friendly and take time to help each other out. There is no micromanagement and people are trusted to do their job well.

Work-Life-Balance

I was very pleasantly surprised about how healthy the working culture is at Lano, considering my expectation of joining a dynamic start-up. There is no unsustainable hustle-culture or peer-pressure. If you get your job done, there are no questions asked. There is lots of flexibility in terms of working hours and vacation.

There are lots of opportunities to advance in terms of career, however there is currently no learning and development budget (yet).

Gehalt/Benefits

The compensation is fair and competitive, but there are comparatively few perks and benefits at the moment of writing this review.

Lano buys and uses sustainable and ecological options wherever feasible.

People are very friendly and open. The team typically gets lunch together and the social aspect of work is a highlight of working at Lano.

Lano has a very young team and there are career and growth opportunities at every level.

There are no unnecessary hierarchies and management is very approachable and friendly. Expectations are communicated well and the goals are fair and realistic. There is a good feedback culture that goes both ways and employees are always part of setting their own goals.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Good equipment and regular improvements to the work environment. Of course this is a startup and not a large corporate, but employees have the tools they need.

Kommunikation

There is regular team communication and company-wide meetings and relevant information is easily accessible for employees. Because Lano is a growing startup and things sometimes change on the fly, communication can still be improved.

Gleichberechtigung

Lano has a diverse team and everyone is treated equally.

Interessante Aufgaben

Tasks are distributed fairly amongst team members and there is lots of opportunity to choose tasks and projects that you are talented or interested in, or explore areas in which you would like to grow.
