Aktuell alles in Ordnung.
Sehr faires, starkes Offer-Package.
Transparency and open communication, focus on employees, great company culture, feedback oriented, great development opportunities and benefits
Nothing really, I enjoy working at Leapsome
Very welcoming atmosphere with super nice office in the center of Berlin
They offer a learning budget to spend on workshops/training
Young and ambitious team who supports each other
Transparent and open communication across all levels
Transparency, inclusive company culture, team events to encourage top culture inside the specific team, benefits, and perks are good too.
Nothing really
The atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming! I feel appreciated and valued at work both personally and professionally.
Relatively high salary for students
In Leapsome, it does not matter how old you are and how senior you are in your position - everyone is treated with respect and is equal!
Constant support from the supervisor/manager, weekly meetings to discuss ups and downs, and any questions and concerns.
Great office location with kitchen, drinks, and snacks. In summer time, working in our backyard is the best! Macbooks as working computers
Internal communication is on point - people are responsive and always open to help each other.
Depending on the role and seniority
- Focus on Development
- Culture and Communication
- The Team - just amazing
- 360 support
- The Leadership team is pro actively responding on feedback
- Can not think of anything
Everyone is really supportive smart and driven. It is fast paced and truly fun to work with people who are that engaged and highly motivated while bringing so many different talent. There is focussed work time and time to relax and connect.
There can be busy times so you need to know how to organize yourself well.
On the other hand there is flexibility on remote working and if you need to fit in a doctors appointment or walk to the cityhall it will be accommodated.
Budget to develope yourself and support to make it happen
In our team we hold each other’s back. And support each other where needed.
Cant really judge this as majority of the workforce is young. Considering the welcoming atmosphere regardless of who you are and what your background is I would be surprised if older colleagues where not treated equally
Transparency is lived. Feedback to management is acted on. Information are freely shared and trust is a basis for working together.
Lovely office
Good equipment
One can openly ask questions to anyone and one receives timely answers.
Feedback is important and shared openly with a focus on growth and celebrating achievement.
Different tasks.
Exciting and varied customers.
You can define some of your focus areas
Habe soweit nichts auszusetzen.
In summary, these are the three main points why I would recommend working at Leapsome:
- Opportunity for growth and development: Because it is a young startup, many processes are not yet set in place, leaving a lot of room for taking initiative and raising your own opinion. You are allowed to (and even encouraged to!) think critically at all times and speak up. Approaching your work with a challenging mindset, you not only become more reflective but also learn a lot.
- Structure and guidance: Even though Leapsome is young, internal processes are well-structured. Communication channels are clear, exchanges between the employees take place frequently and all the information is where it should be. This not only allows for a smooth onboarding process but also increases output and productivity. Additionally, one can always expect to receive support and guidance when needed from one's peers.
- Great team with commonly shared values: Everyone in the team is very kind, supportive and open-minded. This makes for a very comfortable, trusting and honest working environment.
This is not something that I have personally felt, however, I think that working at Leapsome (or in a start-up environment in general) might not be something for everyone. It requires you to be very flexible because many things are changing rapidly and are being re-iterated at a fast-pace. Additionally, as the team at Leapsome is still quite small, the workload can be very large at times, requiring you to work very intensely during your working day. If you are someone who prefers following and executing to actively contributing, Leapsome might not be the right place for you. However, if you like to drive innovation, are ready to accept a challenge, grow both, personally and professionally and want to become a part of a very friendly and supportive team, Leapsome is where you should go!
At Leapsome we practice what we preach.
Leapsome is dedicated to the improvement of every employee's working life by optimising work environments - this is something one soon realises when working at the company.
For example, through regular feedback sessions, the team at Leapsome ensures that colleagues can be open and honest towards each other which fosters trust. Additionally, team lunches, team events or daily morning check-ins make sure that relationships between colleagues are positive and encouraging.
Even though there are clear working-hours at Leapsome, these are very flexible in case of any emergencies that the employees experience. For example, Leapsome is open to its employees working from home in case of sickness. Additionally, working hours can be shifted for doctor's appointments or other pressing issues.
While there is a clear division of roles at Leapsome, everyone is very approachable. This means that one can always provide even "higher-level" employees with feedback should the goals set be too high or the expectations too unrealistic. This also positively enhances the work atmosphere at the company.
The importance of communication is one of the key aspects that the team at Leapsome stresses. The set communication channels, regular team-updates or learning sessions in which each team member can present what they have learnt the last couple of weeks make sure that everyone is up-to-date on what is happening outside of their field of expertise. Additionally, everyone is very open to both, give and receive feedback, which shows that the members of the team can be honest and trusting with each other.
This is definitely one of Leapsome's strengths. Because the business is in its very early stages, every employee gets the chance to take initiative, own their work, and challenge the status quo. This makes the work-life much more enjoyable as each working day presents itself as an exciting opportunity to come up with new and creative ways to optimise Leapsome's pre-existing structures and processes.
The responsiveness to each other; the willingness to learn and the care the company shows for customers and employees alike!
Still being in an early growth stage and retaining a relative sense of focus
Take more short breaks together, just to encourage getting up and having a stretch once in a while
Our work/life balance is great generally - sometimes it would be nice to encourage more short breaks from screentime, but other than that work/life balance is definitely respected by the company
We don't actively do anything for the environment, which could definitely be an option for the future.
Everyone gets on really well within the company!
Super!
We have female and male co-founders/CEOs and a gender-balanced team
We have the flexibility to sniff out our own projects and learn new things as long as it's relevant to the company
In brief, the top PROs are:
Meaningful purpose
Great team & energy
Steep learning curve & development opportunities
Strong feedback & ownership culture
Transparency
Fair compensation & benefits
(and everything else mentioned above :D)
CON:
Cannot think of anything right now :)
Purpose & Team
It’s very tangible that the whole team is united around a joint purpose (to help teams grow and succeed). This creates a great energy. We’re coming to work to have real impact and work with inspiring people that share the same drive. On top everyone is fun and open to helping out and sharing learnings. I love going to work here.
Fair compensation packages (including ESOP), great office space & equipment and strong development opportunities.
Transparency & Clear strategy
Everyone in our team has a clear idea of what we are pursuing as a company and where we’re headed. We use OKRs to stay focussed and aligned on our objectives, and ensure that everyone has a good understanding of “the big picture”.
Open feedback & Rapid Learning
We not only help other companies to build feedback and learning into their teams, but also hold ourselves accountable to this. Across all teams and levels, open feedback is happening frequently - it’s requested, given and listened to into/ from all directions. Each and everyone of us is invited to challenge the status quo. This regular feedback enables us to learn rapidly - individually, as a team and as a company. I have never had a steeper learning curve in another job.
Diversity
Leapsome truely values diversity (as you can see on the current team) and there is a shared believe that it’s a core driver for success!
Ownership & Development
There is a strong focus on taking ownership and assuming responsibility early on. As one assumes new responsibilities regularly, there is always a new challenge to take on. We set ambitious objectives together and then people fully own their objectives (no micro-management, instead a clear focus on people enablement). Everyone has at least a weekly 1:1 with their manager to receive all desired support and get an opportunity for sparring on new initiatives. I feel that I fully own my objectives & initiatives and am developing fast.
Execution-oriented
It’s a very entrepreneurial, execution-oriented and highly operational environment. No one is afraid to get their “hands dirty”. We very much prefer doing to just talking.
Super spannende Projekte.
Impact
If you come to think about it, Leapsome’s impact can barely be larger: Most people spend about 80.000 hours in a lifetime (that’s a third of your life!) at work. And Leapsome’s mission is to significantly improve that time, both for employees - who receive regular feedback and are encouraged to grow in their roles - and for organizations as a whole - through better communication, alignment and happiness at work. Working on this mission has proven an amazing experience so far, especially when we hear from our customers that we actually achieve that impact.
Growth mindset
We practice what we preach: We give each other feedback on a regular basis and always highlight growth opportunities. After a while, it has become completely natural to talk about both positive and constructive feedback - keeping in mind that it is always an opportunity to become even stronger, both as individuals and as a company.
Lots of responsibility + autonomy
One of the most important “pros”, especially if you’re a self-starter and entrepreneurial person: Given that the team is small, there’s lots of room to grow and to take on additional responsibilities. Every single person makes a difference.
Still a startup
Not really a “con” but Leapsome is still a young company, so things change quickly. The company is operating profitably and therefore growing quickly, so that processes need to be adapted from time to time. It also means that people tend to work hard - but we it’s a lot of fun and we still know how to balance work with life!
So verdient kununu Geld.
