Bei Leapsome wird sehr viel Wert auf eine gute Arbeitsatmosphäre gelegt. Das Team unterstützt sich gegenseitig, es wird auf eine gute Kommunikation geachtet und dazu sind alle sehr nett & hilfsbereit.
Im Fokus stehen die Resultate der Arbeit und nicht die Zeit, die man vor dem Laptop verbringt. Klar, es gibt immer viel zutun, jedoch hat man auch noch Zeit seinen Hobbys nachzugehen.

Das Team ist wirklich klasse und unterstützt sich gegenseitig. Auch als Praktikantin gehört man komplett zum Team und wird in Prozesse und Entscheidungen inkludiert.
Alles super, wie oben erwähnt transparent, respektvoll und mit viel Wertschätzung für die Arbeit die man leistet und die Meinung aller Mitarbeiter*Innen.
Alles super, während Corona wird man unterstützt und es wird darauf geachtet, dass alle in Kontakt bleiben, trotz remote Arbeit. Aber auch das Büro ist cool und sehr gut gelegen (sehr viele gute Lunch Möglichkeiten in der Nähe)!
Wie oben erwähnt, sehr gut. Alles läuft sehr transparent ab und die Entscheidungen sind immer nachvollziehbar. Jede/r hat die Möglichkeit offenes und ehrliches Feedback zu geben und so auch das Unternehmen mitzugestalten.
Für ein Praktikum in einem Start-Up ein sehr gutes Gehalt.

Als Praktikantin habe ich keinen Kaffee gekocht oder Aufgaben erledigen müssen, die "langweilig" sind. Alle Aufgaben machen Sinn, haben Einfluss auf das Produkt, die Prozesse oder das Unternehmen. Dabei gibt es viel Abwechslung.
Alle KollegInnen sind sehr freundlich und professionell. Es herrscht eine konzentrierte Arbeitsatmosphäre, trotzdem gibt es immer eine/n Ansprechpartner/in, wenn Fragen aufkommen.
Leapsome ist eines der am schnellsten wachsenden Startups in Berlin und international schon sehr bekannt. Viele der erfolgsreichsten Unternehmen Europas nutzen die Leapsome-Plattform für ihre eigenen Mitarbeiterprozesse, d.h. am Image des Arbeitgebers kann man nichts aussetzen.
Die Arbeitszeiten sind nachhaltig und es wird nicht erwartet, dass man bis spätabends im Büro sitzt. Alle KollegInnen haben diverse Hobbys (insbesondere sportlicher Art) neben dem Beruf. Insgesamt wird darauf geachtet, eine gute Work-Life-Balance zu gewährleisten. Wie bei jedem Startup gibt es allerdings viel zu tun und es wird einem definitiv nie langweilig.
Wer sich für die Themen HR und Entrepreneurship begeistern kann, der findet bei Leapsome eine exzellente Möglichkeit, beides miteinander zu kombinieren und ein Experte auf ihrem/seinem Fachgebiet zu werden. Aufgrund des starken Wachstums eröffnen sich regelmäßig neue Chancen für persönliche und berufliche Weiterentwicklung. Als Praktikant bei Leapsome habe ich auf jeden Fall sehr viel gelernt.
Am Praktikantengehalt kann man nichts auszusetzen, insbesondere da Leapsome noch ein Startup ist. Den langfristig angestellten KollegInnen wird außerdem eine UrbanSportsClub-Mitgliedschaft bezahlt und ein jährliches Budget für berufliche Weiterentwicklung bereitgestellt.
Wird sehr ernst genommen, sowohl auf individueller Ebene als auch im gesamten Unternehmen.
Der Kollegenzusammenhalt bei Leapsome ist sehr gut. Dank regelmäßiger Team-Events, täglicher gemeinsamer Lunch-Breaks und einer inspirierenden Mission ("Make work fulfilling for everyone") ziehen alle am gleichen Strang und man fühlt sich schon als PraktikantIn wie ein vollwertiges Teammitglied. Ich habe mich jeden Tag darauf gefreut, ins Büro zu kommen und meine KollegInnen zu sehen.
Das Leapsome-Team ist im Durchschnitt vergleichsweise jung, insofern ist dieser Punkt nur schwer zu beurteilen. Ich hatte allerdings keine Erfahrungen, die einen schlechteren Umgang mit älteren Kollegen vermuten ließen.
Die Co-Founder sind beide sympathisch und charakterstark, was sich aufs gesamte Team abfärbt. Das Verhalten meines Vorgesetzten war immer einwandfrei. Bei Bedarf habe ich konstruktives Feedback erhalten und wenn Aufgaben gut erledigt wurden, gab es auch die entsprechende Wertschätzung. Die Leapsome-Plattform wird natürlich auch intern genutzt, was die gesamte Team-Dynamik positiv beeinflusst.
Die Arbeitsbedingungen sind einwandfrei. Moderne Ausrüstung, tolles Büro, wöchentliche Obst-Lieferungen, etc.
Das ganze Unternehmen ist sehr transparent und alle relevanten Informationen sind jederzeit verfügbar. Team-Meetings machen Spaß und sind sowohl sinnvoll als auch effektiv. Die Hierarchien sind flach und die tägliche Kommunikation über Slack, Zoom/Hangouts und im Büro funktioniert einwandfrei.
Gleichbereitigung wird bei Leapsome großgeschrieben. Das Geschlechterverhältnis ist ca. 50/50 und das Team ist sehr divers. Es gibt keinen Unterschied bei den Karrierechancen und bei der Wertschätzung der Arbeit.
Nach einer kurzen Startphase erhielt ich schnell Verantwortung in diversen Aufgabengebieten. Das hat nicht nur Spaß gemacht, sondern erlaubte mir, in kurzer Zeit sehr viel zu lernen. Zum Teil waren dies strategisch sehr relevante Projekte, die sichtbar zur Weiterentwicklung des Unternehmens beigetragen haben - was erwartet man sich mehr von einem Business Development Praktikum?
In summary, these are the three main points why I would recommend working at Leapsome:
- Opportunity for growth and development: Because it is a young startup, many processes are not yet set in place, leaving a lot of room for taking initiative and raising your own opinion. You are allowed to (and even encouraged to!) think critically at all times and speak up. Approaching your work with a challenging mindset, you not only become more reflective but also learn a lot.
- Structure and guidance: Even though Leapsome is young, internal processes are well-structured. Communication channels are clear, exchanges between the employees take place frequently and all the information is where it should be. This not only allows for a smooth onboarding process but also increases output and productivity. Additionally, one can always expect to receive support and guidance when needed from one's peers.
- Great team with commonly shared values: Everyone in the team is very kind, supportive and open-minded. This makes for a very comfortable, trusting and honest working environment.
This is not something that I have personally felt, however, I think that working at Leapsome (or in a start-up environment in general) might not be something for everyone. It requires you to be very flexible because many things are changing rapidly and are being re-iterated at a fast-pace. Additionally, as the team at Leapsome is still quite small, the workload can be very large at times, requiring you to work very intensely during your working day. If you are someone who prefers following and executing to actively contributing, Leapsome might not be the right place for you. However, if you like to drive innovation, are ready to accept a challenge, grow both, personally and professionally and want to become a part of a very friendly and supportive team, Leapsome is where you should go!

Leapsome is dedicated to the improvement of every employee's working life by optimising work environments - this is something one soon realises when working at the company.
For example, through regular feedback sessions, the team at Leapsome ensures that colleagues can be open and honest towards each other which fosters trust. Additionally, team lunches, team events or daily morning check-ins make sure that relationships between colleagues are positive and encouraging.
Even though there are clear working-hours at Leapsome, these are very flexible in case of any emergencies that the employees experience. For example, Leapsome is open to its employees working from home in case of sickness. Additionally, working hours can be shifted for doctor's appointments or other pressing issues.
While there is a clear division of roles at Leapsome, everyone is very approachable. This means that one can always provide even "higher-level" employees with feedback should the goals set be too high or the expectations too unrealistic. This also positively enhances the work atmosphere at the company.
The importance of communication is one of the key aspects that the team at Leapsome stresses. The set communication channels, regular team-updates or learning sessions in which each team member can present what they have learnt the last couple of weeks make sure that everyone is up-to-date on what is happening outside of their field of expertise. Additionally, everyone is very open to both, give and receive feedback, which shows that the members of the team can be honest and trusting with each other.
This is definitely one of Leapsome's strengths. Because the business is in its very early stages, every employee gets the chance to take initiative, own their work, and challenge the status quo. This makes the work-life much more enjoyable as each working day presents itself as an exciting opportunity to come up with new and creative ways to optimise Leapsome's pre-existing structures and processes.

Pros
Company culture is Leapsome's best selling point. The value Leapsome places on "People" is the core of its company culture. This means they know both the importance of and the how-to behind making sure employees are valued and validated (ex, through ongoing both positive and growth-oriented feedback), are given what they need to have satisfying and meaningful work (are given what they need to have satisfying and meaningful work (ex, autonomy, challenge, support, growth opportunities), and can communicate openly with each other.
*Communication: Clear channels for open communication.
*Feedback: Always welcome; quickly implemented
*Teamwork: Teams are aligned, work is focused + productive, no busy-work
*Work-life balance: Sustainable and healthy, including for founders
*Support from management, freedom, autonomy: A+, another bonus of working for a company focused on people development and meaningful/engaging work is the understanding + implementation of support and feedback, but also agency, ex no micro-managing.
*Independence: 75% of day, it is a small team so you are often working on a project mostly independently (but with feedback from others).
I would say pros and cons all depend on what you are looking for in a company. For example, right now Leapsome is pretty small personnel-wise, but with a much larger client base, and adding employees quickly. Therefore, if you are looking for a "small, growing team" where you become a core member, this is a pro. If you are looking for bigger company, maybe wait a bit and check back in.
Also, keep in mind that 75% of work was independent, so it depends on your work style.
