A great deal of attention is paid to constant transparency, so that everyone can understand the current situation. Despite the ongoing growth, communication channels are relatively short.

In some teams, cohesion is almost synonymous with family, while in certain departments, too much emphasis is placed on imposing one's own opinion on others, which tends to suppress open dialogues very often. However, blaming culture between engineers is a thing in some weeks.

People know when it's time to work a little harder. Nevertheless, this is usually recognized and rewarded. Regular team events ensure the appropriate relaxation. If you actively practice "work hard, play hard", LOVOO is the place to be. Plus, parents are given generous freedom to look after their little ones.

Since 1:1 meetings and recurring feedback sessions are part of the culture, C level management makes sure that these topics regularly finds its place. Yet, it is rare for them to be actively involved in the product development process.

The salary may be appropriate for Dresden, but is below the industry standard. Benefits (free breakfast, in-house gym, snacks, etc.) are nice, but nothing life changing.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Conference visits are only approved under reservation. Opportunities for promotion are limited. But everybody is encouraged to experiment and try out new departments if desired.

In your opinion, there are still a few points we should work on. We're still working on getting those screws tightened and giving you the best possible working environment. The current reorganisation of the office will certainly improve a few things. At LOVOO you can and should make mistakes. This is important in order to constantly develop further.
