The overall employee benefits are significantly below what is typically offered by german companies
Please recognize that the company operates in Germany and needs stronger localization. Conduct a clear analysis of local labor practices, communication norms, and compliance requirements; benchmark against comparable companies in the German market; and use those insights to adjust policies and management style. This would meaningfully support the company’s long-term development.
The pressure is extremely high, and there is very little genuine respect for the people who actually do the work. Employees are often treated as if their contributions don’t matter, which creates a discouraging and toxic environment.
Work-Life-Balance:
The company offers 24 vacation days per year, but taking sick leave is highly discouraged — even when employees are genuinely unwell. Working from home is strictly prohibited, and the limited flexibility that once existed has been completely removed. Work-life balance is simply not a consideration in this company.
Team cohesion is rather limited. There are noticeable divides between long-term employees and newer team members, which often affects collaboration and trust. At times, the overall atmosphere can feel less supportive than expected in a professional environment.
The management style reflects a very traditional Korean hierarchy, where authority and seniority outweigh open communication and mutual respect. Decisions flow strictly top-down, leaving little room for discussion or employee input.
There seems to be no real willingness to communicate between the operational staff and upper management, including the head of the branch. The overall structure feels heavily influenced by a strict Korean-style hierarchy, rather than open and respectful dialogue.
