the teams are very motivated to achieve their goals; there is room for further personal development; the working hours are flexible and personal needs are taken into account; it is great that it is possible to work from home; the hr team always takes good care of the employees' issues; great team events; plenty of free oat milk
sometimes the goals are a bit too ambitious, which could have a negative effect on motivation (as the goals set may not be realistic); coordination between the different teams is sometimes a bit disorganized; individual employees do not always behave correctly (the company cannot necessarily do something about that, but workshops may help)
the company should continuously develop its corporate culture and allow its employees to participate in this process
very pleasant working atmosphere
appropriate salary
special team spirit, regular get-togethers and great events
nice managers, flat hierarchies
the communication could be improved a bit
Firmenkultur und Botschaft

der Tag bietet neue Aufgaben, neue Erfahrungen und viel Spaß
Very positive communication and corporate culture. Management uses every opportunity to praise individual employees - you get valued for the work you do.
We are a small team with high expectations, so a lot of multi-tasking is needed.
Very positive corporate culture. People help each other, are very supportive no matter what position they are in. Colleagues treat each other with a lot of respect and positive attitude.
Motivation, sehr interessante Projekte, die Arbeit an der Zukunft vom Health Care System, Führungskräfte, Umgang miteinander
Manchmal etwas chaotisch :)
- Unternehmen in ruhiges Fahrwasser bringen
Interesting product and industry potential.
Corporate drive and potential is there, but there is a lot of mismanagement and inexperienced and unsupporting team leaders constantly stonewalling progress for very many (politics).
Focus more on sales and less on brand image. Hire a full-time (not outsourced) HR team to help employee issues. Management to treat team members with individual respect and support, and to above all respect work-life balance and humane working hours (ex: 9-6 OK, 9-9 not OK)
Nice open office space, fully stocked kitchen, generally good camaraderie among the teams
Brand image does not fit the culture and product
Work-life balance was OK for me, but only existed in balance if you pushed hard to superiors about your needs to have a work-life balance, which was not seen well in the eyes of management for everyone
Some shady tactics used to force full-time (angestellte) employees to leave, no HR team and no development, often lack of interest from management to support the skills of employees in key areas for the company
Higher than usual salary for Berlin, but again, terrible management
Kitchen stocked with organic and often fair trade products
Team member collaboration is great in person and via Slack, but management not so open and honest
Not only myself but many other colleagues had terrible experiences with direct managers and upper management. Department leaders were nice in person but would not honor their team members all the time. My superior for example postponed the jour fixe by 4 months for no reason
No computer or desk for the 1st week of employment, had to push very hard to get a work machine
Aside from Slack chats, proper, timely, and correctly-spelled internal communication was lacking (work language is English)
Definitely an interesting work field, very big in North America, maybe will be successful in Europe
A company should provide a safe place for its employees. Management should cultivate and reward hard work, rather than exploit it. Structures should be conducive to good teamwork while ensuring that any bad "team players" are held accountable for screwing over or throwing other team members under the bus. A leader should lead by doing, sitting with their employees to identify key issues or pain points, rather than …
In practice, management ignored and blatantly violated the company's core values on a daily basis while shifting blame onto employees to save face. When presented with honest criticism, management also attempted to deflect these criticisms as unfounded. Much was spoken of "flat hierarchies," but. in effect, rank and file employees were subjugated to the capricious demands of c-level managers. Instead of fostering a collaborative workplace, this allowed for many to skirt around their responsibilities. Blame seeking was the rule of the game, rather than an emphasis on problem-solving.
By the end of my time, the company had a very shaky grasp of its own identity and often frantically alternated between medical and lifestyle product. Without clear brand vision or guidelines, employees were left to often make their own judgments with inconsistent guidance. The result was a haphazard conglomerate of messaging that appealed to no one and a graveyard of missed marketing chances. This failing was never addressed during my time there. Efforts to highlight this issue were rebuked or blame was given to the employee who attempted to make progress on these issues.
Managers never showed respect towards personal time. Moreover, in my department, employees were often yelled at, threatened, and intimidated into working harder. We were expected to work an extreme amount of overtime, without extra pay or time off.
Horrible in terms of work done and remuneration.
I worked with some considerate, passionate employees. However, the management themselves were utterly incompatible with their employees and unable to take responsibility for their teams. Our team never once had a team lunch during the six months I was employed there. C-level management would disappear during lunch, go on vacation without notifying employees or other team members, and no-show meetings repeatedly. Before quitting, I hadn't had a 1-on-1 meeting with my manager in months. At the same time, it was expected from you to be "on call" at all
Leading management would hold weekly leadership meetings, without summarizing the results to rank-and-file employees. From one week to the next, the focus on marketing efforts would shift—almost always without empirical proof or a robust hypothesis. Important issues were often glazed over or ignored. Internal politics often resulted in the marginalization of individual employees.
Very bad. To the point of feeling personally threatened. No support for individual employees—a constant flow of pressure and unrealistic expectations.
In practice, management ignored and blatantly violated the company's core values on a daily basis while shifting blame onto employees to save face. When presented with honest criticism, management also attempted to deflect these criticisms as unfounded, even going so far as to threaten employees directly.
