There is nothing "schlecht", although above mentioned things could use improvement.

- improve flexible working hours for people which prefer to work in the mornings
- more balance between onsite and offsite employees
- start regular Townhall meetings in English
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Generally good, although there was sometimes extra pressure due to deadlines.
Kommunikation
There was no problem with approaching anybody in the company. Also there was a lot of attention given to jour fixe meetings and feedback talks. I think that some more transparency towards general company plans could be introduced - for example by Townhall Meetings.

Very good.
Work-Life-Balance
Flexible working hours and possibility of home office did the trick. I would just suggests some change to core working hours, as it is biased towards people which like to sleep long and return to home at evenings.

A lot of different projects and technologies. Also possibility to take more and more responsibilities.

Company is very open, everybody is welcomed, even if you are 50+ and had 20 years of break in your professional career you still can get a chance.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Very nice office. No huge open spaces. Air Conditioning. No problem with parking spaces. Two monitors for everybody. Computers by itself could be more modern.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
I would say that little too much. "Don't leave monitors on standby" policy seemed like overkill to me. Also personally even if my current hardware is perfectly well working I would prefer to replace it with more up to date ones more often.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Salary was always paid on time, and all agreements about raises were kept. There is also very transparent process of Christmas bonus.
In regard to the salary amount - you should be aware that not many German companies actually hire non-German speaking people, which creates pretty much two separate job markets - one for German speaking employees, other for English speaking employees.
Taking that into account I cannot complain, I can recommend mensemedia to all other non-German speakers.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Mensemedia is a very good place to "get your foot in" or make a progress to your career. There is one caveat - the company is not that big, and most likely in few years you will learn all that you could learn, so to actually "capitalize" it you would have to change company.
