I was disappointed not to hear back after a thorough interview, despite leaving on a positive note and even following up by email. For an organization devoted to mental health and connection, this lack of basic communication felt inconsistent.

During the interview, I was also surprised by the rigidity around work–life balance. For example, I was told: “Yes, we want you to come into the office to write all of your emails.” This, paired with comments about needing to “withstand inter-team conflicts,” raised doubts about whether the work culture truly reflects the values of well-being the foundation promotes.

That said, the field itself is deeply inspiring, and I’m sure I could have contributed in a meaningful way. I genuinely wish the team success and hope that in building the future of psychedelic therapy, they remain connected to the roots of psilocybin: healing, connection, and humility.

Thank you for the comment - just today (01.09.2025) we made the decision to write emails to the applicants. We were just not through (but could have given a better map of the decision processes and how long they take).

Home office is possible. After Corona we have decided to favour regular in office work - like many other organizations. Many of our colleagues write emails from home - and take home office days from time to time.
