I like that I have been able to work on many interesting and versatile projects with good support from the team when needed.
As a freelancer I work mostly from home. But when I was at the office the atmosphere was really great.
Really great colleague always ready to help.
Not always super interesting but very versatile.
Literally all mentioned feedback points were raised internally from the get go - company then acted like I never said a word and considers this review "bad manners". Unfortunately, if you're interviewing for this company, this already says a lot so my advice is: make sure you (because they will post-hoc rationalize your fit) are 110% confident in your fit, otherwise you won't be happy here.
EDIT 01/29/21: Having seen the response to my rating, I couldn’t be more happy about it. A toxic leadership that cancels all feedback points as “baseless” while taking no responsibility? Who would have thought? My advice for interviewees: Pick a couple of my points and ask HR and leadership separately about them. Listen for differences, check the degree of denial/acceptance and see how they talk about previous employees.
EDIT 05/28/21: Company addressed this review internally and asked current employees to create good-to-perfect ratings so this one gets washed away. Couldn’t care less but what does this tell you?
Employees are so brainwashed of their own leadership culture that receiving a slap in the face is something nice. Marketing is okay with being referred to by their gender. It's weird.
No onboarding plan. No onboarding priorities or milestones. Everyone expects you to dive right into everything, yesterday. Overtime is expected and not compensated in full. Colleagues will report you leaving at 5pm even if you arrived at 7am. Vacation can be taken whenever (according to communication).
No COVID-19 policy. Mandatory to be in-office. Lunch room is overcrowded.
Colleagues didn't raise apparent issues directly. Tech guys are skilled and cool. Never got to meet any of them, really.
You will receive face slaps for fun. You will be embarrassed and shouted at if it suits. You will have to believe in a MLM coaching scheme. Other than that, potential to be a good but moody and feisty leadership.
EDIT 12/19/20: Leadership accepted and then declined my request to receive feedback upon reading this review.
Joined very soon after contract signing. Haven't had received hardware yet. Had to work out of conference room because rooms are noisy and walls are thin. Every now and then, you can hear leadership badmouth someone who's absent in the hallway.
Cross-team meetings are considered important, which is good. Open-End meeting mindset (unless leadership has a hard cut) leads to ruined work and day structure. Meetings tend to become non-productive workshops, lacking anything but "Look at X again" action items. Leadership likes to have monologues we listened to last week already. "Leave it be, none of your business" can be heard every now and then. Little meeting structure, despite starting with "what's our goal", is funny.
Salary and readiness to invest is good.
Onboarding started with revamping the process landscape, followed by an addition to the tech stack. Deprioritized early and back to calls all day guidance.
Willingness to invest in your professional development.
After 5.5 years I am only leaving because I am taking over my family's business. MultiBase is doing a great job of creating a productive, fun and motivating environment. Team spirit is built through regular team events and group activities such as bowling, mini golf or cart driving. I always felt very comfortable!
A lot of emphasis will be put on work/life balance, home office is possible and just needs to be communicated.
I have never been with a company which has invested more into trainings and coachings than MultiBase. It's not a problem at all if you are not experienced enough in any area - you only need to be willing to learn and grow.
Cohesion makes it possible to overcome difficult situations. It's a family atmosphere and colleagues will be supported professionally and personally. Everyone is positive and caring.
Never experienced anything inappropriate.
The CEO is mentoring employees which allows them to engage and grow and succeed in their roles. Ideas can be communicated and exchanged at any time.
Everything you need in terms of equipment they will invest in and you will get it in high quality. If you are missing anything you can always let them know and they will find a solution for it.
Clear communication, honest and actionable feedback. Problems are addressed directly with solutions suggested.
Never experienced anything inappropriate.
Tasks are challenging and will let you grow. It never gets boring :-)
Transparency, Communication, Team Spirit, Employee Recognition, Workplace Environment, well established Position in the Market (therefore providing a safe and stable job)
As already mentioned in my previous comments, I think that we should always try to ensure a good Work-Life-Balance by paying close attention to the level of stress the employees are going through with the different tasks they have to work on. At the same time, I think the Company can try to further promote events to bring the team closer, this would be great to make the team spirit even stronger. But, as my grades already showed, I think that the Company is on the right track.
Everybody in the team is very supportive and open to new ideas.
By allowing the employees to work from home and by being open to negotiate such a thing, I see this as a positive aspect on the Work-Life-Balance. At the same time, I know that sometimes it might happen that the employee will need to dedicate extra time to accomplish her/his tasks. I don't perceive this as a huge problem since this is not a daily common scenario, but I also believe that we can always find ways of improving this. That's why I believe 4/5 is a good grade here.
From my perspective, since the company is so open and transparent it's a lot easier to grow there. It depends solely on the employee's will. The support is provided, the direction is pointed, the questions are answered and the problems are solved together; so I think it is for sure the right way to go when it comes to establish a nice environment for a career development.
As already mentioned, people are very supportive and even though we sometimes work from different places we can work well together.
As far as I know, the relationship with old colleagues is so good that we even keep in touch with them and sometimes even work together. Good relationship is definitely a strong aspect from the Company.
For the first time in my work experience I'm having the chance to have real mentors. We can always align on my career development and we have a pretty good level of communication, which means that we can set the correct goals and discuss over them to understand if it fits reality.
Everything is top quality! The best thing is that everything in terms of equipment will be provided to suit the employee's needs. The office environment is really nice and offers a very comfortable workplace.
Communication works really well and in a transparent way.
Definitely no complains here. For me personally, I feel valued for my work and I think the salary is a good fit. Payment is always on time and we can even have bonuses depending on the company's performance. I'm happy with it! :)
In terms of interesting tasks, I can say from my experience until now that you'll definitely encounter great challenges that will make you grow more and more as professional. However, in terms of workload, I noticed that it can happen that depending on the available projects it might be that a employee will need to work in many projects at once and it could be that some people don't feel comfortable with it. I know that the company also puts effort on trying to bring new colleagues whenever such a situation appears, therefore again I think a grade of 4/5 would be fair.
Unglaublich - Danke MultiBase!

Die Balance zwischen Freizeit und Arbeit
Die Verwaltung
Der Standort
– Flat hierarchies, where employees are involved in the decision making processes, that are asked for their opinion and each and everybody’s ideas matter are listened to.
- The working environment and the flexibility offered.
- HR processes.
- Caring. There are companies who care about customers; Companies who care about employees development path; Companies who care about the office climate. And there is MultiBase who cares about all of the above :)
- Colleagues. Excellent professionals, immediate action takers in every situation, good or challenging.
- Company traditions. I think our company events became more like ‘traditions’ than team-buildings – which is absolutely amazing and unique!
