I applied to the vacancy, and was contacted for an interview. I showed up at the interview, and was asked to seat in a room. A first person entered the room, introduced himself and started to talk about a position which was not what I applied to. After a moment of confusion, the person realized that he entered the wrong room. This person apologized and left.
A couple of minutes later, a second person came in the room. This was my interviewer, and the interview was professional.
I have been invited to a second interview a week later with the "manager" of the department. This was a Thursday, and the interview last about 1 hour. After this hour, I have been told that on Monday the latest, a decision would be communicated.
Obviously, deadlines are something this "manager" cannot really hold, therefore I called on Tuesday. No answer.
I have tried to call back this person back the day after, and introduced myself. The answer I got was "Euh, who are you?".... I am the one you were supposed to inform about a the application process. "Oh, I'm on a business trip right now, I'll call you this week".
The only communication I received, some days later, was a template email from a HR person I've never met. Email in which was written that they rejected the application "after evaluation of the resumé".
