Flexible Arbeitszeit
Good PR and Marketing
Bad working conditions, Very disrespectful superiors, Fake promises.
Well being
You can’t focus on your work without being pulled away for something “very important” every single day.
Poor reputation among employees.
Working hours far beyond legal limits are not uncommon, they’re openly expected.
High effort can still result in termination.
Low pay relative to workload, especially considering unpaid overtime.
Growth is the only priority.
At least you can complain about the company together.
Mostly young employees are hired, often under the assumption they will work harder.
Incompetent managers who can’t handle criticism. Narcissistic boss.
Overcrowded rooms, ignored safety standards, and poor Wi-Fi quality.
Departments don’t communicate with each other.
Foreign interns are often used as low-cost labor and are frequently not offered full-time positions.
No focus on core work, just constant “firefighting” every day.
Collegues
Rethink Communication Culture: Provide clear, precise work instructions and take actual time for employees instead of just building up pressure.
There is an urgent need to hire a competent and responsible technical lead (e.g., an Engineering Lead with real ownership) to structure processes and guide the team.
The working atmosphere is continuously characterized by high pressure and noticeable stress. There is a culture centered around finding fault rather than offering support. Due to the permanent overburdening and the feeling of being left alone with problems, the morale across the entire team is incredibly tense
The employer's social responsibility toward the workforce is insufficient. A healthy work-life balance is lacking
Colleagues are nice and supportive if they have time.
When tasks are not completed as expected due to the poor briefings, the response from management is merely complaining rather than constructive feedback.
Instructions are given in an extremely vague, incomplete manner, often rushes in just a few minutes on the fly.
Einfach sehr schlecht.
In meinem Fall, horror.
IMO:
Interesting projects with great colleagues at the front of their field.
IMO:
Work-Life-Balance & compensation:
You are rewarded the same no matter the hours, effort, initiative, energy given the company; wether exceptional, normal, or subpar.
IMO:
Show your workers what they are worth to you and treat them with the respect they deserve! Keeping workers happy is easier and financially cheaper than hiring replacements!!
IMO: Colleagues are great; but the required work far outways the compensation given. Interesting projects.
IMO:
In media all over the news, everyone praises the company for their contributions to a bright future!
IMO: You are expected to sacrifice everything for the company's success (overtime, weekends, etc.). This would be fine if proper compensation is given in return... this is not the case... :(
IMO: Very slim chance of "climbing the ladder".
IMO:
Salary pay kept to a minimum! You get payed the minimum P&C can "get away with"... Know your worth! Make it higher to compensate for close to non-existent salary raises!
IMO:
"We serve humanity" is a great slogan and may be the goal of the company but there are shortcomings:
- "we serve humanity" @ the cost of our workers
- product recycling very bad/ does it exist?
IMO: Really great (depending on the team)
IMO: Most colleagues are really really great!
IMO: Depends on the team: most are great, some are missing compassion for their team.
IMO:
+ interesting tasks
+ great colleagues
+ flexible working hours
- expected to overwork without pay
- slim chance of climbing the career ladder
- slim salary raises (entry pay stays your salary over the years... mostly)
- strict no home office policy
- work hour tracking null and void due to no overtime pay / compensation
IMO: C-level and lower level workers disconnect. It seems that there are different views of the state based on the level. Also there is a good bit of double work für to missing communication in certain teams.
IMO: Different pay for colleagues with same experience; the deciding factor is how much you fight for your worth. Other than pay gaps a bit of nepotism is evident in the company.
IMO: The tasks available are exceptional! Projects are super interesting and groundbreaking!
Pay better wages. Don’t exploit interns.
I don’t dare to give a statement here.
Unpaid overtime is expected, sometimes beyond legal limits.
Very low compensation.
Some competent managers, some very incompetent.
Inspiring vision and mission-statement.
Could be a potentially great stop early on in ones professional career - if you are willing to fully commit yourself (for a limited amount of time).
Sadly one is faced with:
- high-pressure, high-energy, result driven environment (what they call "start-up spirit")
- what feels like limited (long-term) security
- fluctuating workloads (the will reach un-sustainably high levels)
The vision of 'making (robotics) histroy' should still leave enough space for a sustainable environment.
Would be great if employee well-being would be higher regarded and fealt exchangeability could be reduced.
In the instances where deadlines aren't dominating it might the atmosphere in some teams could be called jovial.
But when stakes are high and tension rises, the very mediocre office space contributes to a tense and sometimes downtrodden atmosphere.
Turnover feels high due to 'hire and fire' mentailty.
Feels like there is a signficant gap between projected image and experienced reality.
Overtime as well as work during weekends / public holidays seem to just be expected. Working hours are not tracked and it feels like compensation of overtime is not intended.
In gernal the unsaid credo feels close to 'keep going no matter what'.
If you have an intrest in keeping sustainable working hours, you're on your own. But it's possibly to limit overtime if you do not cave under self-doubt.
You have a truly saggering amount of freedom to try out new things and grown from experiences.
But there seems to be now structured employee development or planned trainings.
Great if you are fine with teaching yourself - but in the end you'll be limited by the freely available ressources.
Has been better in the past and is highly dependant on the teams you are working in as well as with.
Some groups - especially of long(ish) time employees - have great team spirit and are very supportive of each other.
When it comes down to inter-department collarboration some teams more often than not clash instead of actually hearing each other out.
Interactions feel honest - although in the recent past it felt like some topics were just left out and most talks were purly work related.
Goals are generally very ambitous most of times - tasks often do not come with a shedule other than to be done asap.
Decisions could be more transparent and feel like they might be overrules at any point in time.
Employee involvment is very much dependant on the department.
Some managers value employee opinions and show trust - others can feel pushy at the best of times.
Leadership is often sacrificed for simply working more.
Would be great if supervisors were more available / present in their teams.
Drastic differences in office spaces.
Highlight is the good IT and - although there is no true standard for assets, which sometimes may feel like preferential treatment.
Otherwise offices seem to be mostly repurposed spaces, that feel crowded and often noisy.
Depending on the building you're in you might get AC (or you might not).
Same goes for light conditions which range from gloomy to overly bright - and include daylight only for a select offices.
Overall conditions are decideky unequal.
Communication is mainly driven by the 'vision' and marketing statements.
C-level tries to deliver regular updates - but often it feels like the updates are targeting more investors and less the concerns directly impacting the employees.
Some news were learned by word of mouth only or from the press in the past - could be more transparent / honest.
Salaries are always payed on time and seem to be according to industry-standards.
But salaries are diminished by the uncounted overtime.
Also salary development is never pro-active and if pursued feels tedious as well as vague.
Male-dominant environment with very few part-time employees.
If your current stage of life does not account for work being the largest part of it, you'll have a overall harder time.
I guess this is the one USP of the company:
You may end up working on very intersting topics and in very engaging teams. During those times work can feel truly inspiring.
Sadly this is not always the case and some tasks may feel like appeasment of other departments / busy work.
So verdient kununu Geld.
