Plinga with its international, inclusive team offers diverse and supportive working environment.
The hierarchy is flat, but at the same time, you have space to grow, learn and claim ownership of your projects. The more initiative you show, the better. It is always heard and rewarded.

Due to the flat hierarchy, the relationship between the team and the heads of departments is relaxed and friendly. Supervisors are eager to help with every-day challenges and long-term tasks. They also support further professional development. At the same time, it is expected from everyone to have a proactive approach, coming up with solutions independently and be open to a strict, regular feedback.
Arbeitsbedingungen
The office is placed in a handsome building, in the center of the city and is very well connected. Directly outside there is a big lawn, regularly used in summer for barbecues lunches, and sometimes even meetings. The office space is constantly being improved and extended. It hosted numerous ping-pong tournaments and kicker matches.
Kommunikation
Regular all-hands-meetings and weekly department meetings. Regular attentive feedbacks, 1:1 meetings and other talks as often as one requests. Very effective and well-structured exchange and communication between departments.
Gleichberechtigung
Diversity and respectfulness are Plinga's one of the biggest assets and advantages.
Interessante Aufgaben
All the departments offer a wide set of projects and tasks to get involved with. Also, new ideas, critical input and initializing individual projects are very welcome and supported.

If this was a start-up, maybe its practices would be acceptable. But this company exists since 5 years and the management is chaotic and completely unwilling or unprepared to tackle their tasks and have clear ideas about what they are doing, and there is the impression that the company simply "flows" around, there is no firm grasp on anything here. It is as if the whole company happens on an accident.

We are sorry to hear that you missed the direction of the company in spite our monthly all hands meetings where we present and discuss the direction and the development of the company. As well you can be sure that the managing directors discuss about our strategy and the direction we are following daily to make sure we stay on top of the newest trends in our industry.
What we can confirm is that indeed there is no clear, 5-years plan which covers everything in our dynamic industry. We need to stay flexible and need to combine that with a clear goal. For sure all processes can be optimized and we thank you for being critical. We would have been very thankful to have discussed this matter into more details while you were on board to understand where exactly you see room for improvement.
