Nicht mehr die Praktikanten / Mitarbeiter ausnutzen: Die gesamte Übersetzungs- und Quality-Assurance Abteilung besteht fast zu 100% aus internationale Praktikanten, die versuchen, in Berlin Fuß zu fassen. Diese werden mit unbezahltem Praktikum oder 450€ Job gelockt, obwohl ausgebildete Arbeitskräfte mehr als 7,50 € pro Sunde verdienen sollten. Danach gibt es keine Möglichkeit auf Festanstellung. DAs ist zwar legal aber unmoralisch.

The hierarchy is flat, but at the same time, you have space to grow, learn and claim ownership of your projects. The more initiative you show, the better. It is always heard and rewarded.
Improvements in the office are always welcome, i.e. lightning.
Very friendly colleagues, international and multicultural team welcoming and treating respectfully every individual in the office. Freuquent team building events and casual "beer o'clocks".

Everyone is encouraged to keep learning and take new responsibilities and, if possible, be promoted; everyone is supported to grow professionally within the company but also to set new individual career goals.

In a nutshell: Open-mindedness, inclusiveness, respectfulness, loyalty. Frequent group lunches, cooking in the office, "beer o'clocks".
Due to the flat hierarchy, the relationship between the team and the heads of departments is relaxed and friendly. Supervisors are eager to help with every-day challenges and long-term tasks. They also support further professional development. At the same time, it is expected from everyone to have a proactive approach, coming up with solutions independently and be open to a strict, regular feedback.
The office is placed in a handsome building, in the center of the city and is very well connected. Directly outside there is a big lawn, regularly used in summer for barbecues lunches, and sometimes even meetings. The office space is constantly being improved and extended. It hosted numerous ping-pong tournaments and kicker matches.
Regular all-hands-meetings and weekly department meetings. Regular attentive feedbacks, 1:1 meetings and other talks as often as one requests. Very effective and well-structured exchange and communication between departments.
Diversity and respectfulness are Plinga's one of the biggest assets and advantages.
All the departments offer a wide set of projects and tasks to get involved with. Also, new ideas, critical input and initializing individual projects are very welcome and supported.
Great workflow organization, very nice social events and amazing colleagues, who make you feel like in a second family, social gaming is a great fun business, very international culture
After over seven years in the company I have learned a lot but I could not grow professionally any more: however I am sure it will improve soon thank to Plinga's new partners
The only thing that I can suggest to improve is the office equipment and furniture.

There is not a hint of professionalism here. As mentioned, decisions are taken top down based on feelings, last minute findings and personal connections. There is no firm grasp.
You have a good thing going on, just be more professional, you can do it!
Everybody knows that the company is not professional and there is a sense of insecurity in the air, but nobody says anything out loud.

The colleagues are great and always helpfull and nice
General Management is unable to perform their tasks with professionalism and competence. Decisions seem to be taken based on feelings, assumptions and personal preferences / connections.
Average salary
Drastic decisions are taken from one day to another, top down, no discussions.

If this was a start-up, maybe its practices would be acceptable. But this company exists since 5 years and the management is chaotic and completely unwilling or unprepared to tackle their tasks and have clear ideas about what they are doing, and there is the impression that the company simply "flows" around, there is no firm grasp on anything here. It is as if the whole company happens on an accident.
It is about time you realize you must be competent and secure enough to lead a company.

We are sorry to hear that you missed the direction of the company in spite our monthly all hands meetings where we present and discuss the direction and the development of the company. As well you can be sure that the managing directors discuss about our strategy and the direction we are following daily to make sure we stay on top of the newest trends in our industry.
What we can confirm is that indeed there is no clear, 5-years plan which covers everything in our dynamic industry. We need to stay flexible and need to combine that with a clear goal. For sure all processes can be optimized and we thank you for being critical. We would have been very thankful to have discussed this matter into more details while you were on board to understand where exactly you see room for improvement.
