Good for an intern, bad for long term .
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The intentions are good . Especially from the heads of HR, Dev or product . very young motivated people ( at least in the beginning)
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Expectations of the engineers are usually super unrealistic. Attractive Incentives like public transportation cards or other things are basically non existent.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Keep an Eye on the dev market to stay attractive. Things like home office or attractive incentives should not be a taboo, otherwise you will keep bleeding good people and paying head hunters for new devs.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
It used to be positive and relaxed . Lately not anymore . You can almost cut the air with a knife
Kommunikation
Sprints and planning do not play a role . Surprise tasks can jump in any second and need to be done ASAP
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The team spirit was still good right before I left . I still have good contact with many
Work-Life-Balance
Home office was often a Struggle . Limited to a maximum of twice a month . Incentives are basically non existing
Vorgesetztenverhalten
I think the new CTO has good intentions . But the founders usually have unrealistic expectations from the dev team . No time given for technical debt.
Interessante Aufgaben
Many monotone stuff and bug fixes
Gleichberechtigung
No problems here . There are even more women than men .
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
No problems here
Arbeitsbedingungen
Slowly improving . For example there is air conditioning
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Nothing super special here
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Average to bellow average . Some favorite people get promoted easily, others completely ignored despite the fact that they deliver and are long Time team members.
Image
Was good . I would say declining
Karriere/Weiterbildung
No clear policy on investment into the education of the employees
