At PlusDental, age doesn't seem to be a topic at all. We interact based on experience, motivation, results and an openminded approach to every person we work with.
Karriere / Weiterbildung
The mandatory feedback sessions every 6 months are amazing. Everybody encourages you to participate and give constructive feedback to grow and contribute to the overall growth of the company. Career paths can be openly discussed and will always be met with appreciation and a constructive conversation.
We're still in the processes of creating company-wide training and evolution paths, as these are more of an ad-hoc topic at the moment. But seeing that there are plans for it and working on them regularly gives a very good feeling about them being in place in the near future.

Great compensation! On top, HRmony gives me the possibility to get up to 50€ on top of my net salary through handing in invoices from lunches.
Great, except for our meeting rooms that don't have an A/C, yet. Those get hot in the summertime, especially when the sun is shining directly into the rooms.

No unnecessary printing of CVs, documents or other stuff, that might be accessible through our network.
Amazing. Of course, Corona times call for special measures and so this might be an outcome of it. But nevertheless it is great.
I feel we still do not communicate enough to the outside of how many interesting things we're working on and what impact our work brings to the broad society.
The ability to combine family and work in a seamless way. I experienced a couple of unforseeable circumstances within my family that needed me to go home early or to work from home spontaneously. The amount of understanding, offering help and following up on how I felt during that time and how I was coping with everything has left me speechless. I feel deep appreciation for having a team lead who trusts me with my work and evaluates me based on my results, rather than the time I spend at the office or in front of my computer.
The way of communicating and engaging with my team. Every opinion is appreciated and openly discussed. Needless to say that not every idea is gold, but you will get the feedback as to why that is, and furthermore, insights on different opinions and suggestions on how to make your idea work for that specific use case. This helps me reflect myself, my points of view and learn from others.
The open-door policy. I can virtually approach anyone and ask them about something, people will always be willing to help me out because they live by the principles of team success over individual success.
If we were allowed to bring dogs, that would be a huge plus. But we're working on that, currently.
We currently do not have A/Cs in the meeting rooms, which makes staying in those or interviewing candidates onsite a pretty warm topic. If we were able to get any type of cooling into the rooms, it would make our meetings more comfortable and allow for better focus, while candidates would have it easier to literally keep a cooler head.
