After years it became disappointing. Good company for people who do not challenge or question anything.

I wasn't forced to work in the office during the pandemic.

The mentality is bad. It is only about "work work work". Cohesion between colleagues is maintained artificially through so-called team events or retreats. It doesn't matter that not everyone is comfortable with it.
Given there was a big cost-cut all these events come with a bad taste.

Take a step back and behave a little more humanely in your dealings with one another.

The work atmosphere got bad since the merger happened in 2021. The bigger the company, the less did people care for each other.

Depending on the team you worked with, the communication could be good. There were sometimes more and more occasions when you felt excluded.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Everybody used to get along with all the colleagues great - in the past. Since middle of 2021 there was a bad mentality of everybody caring most for him/herself.

Depends on how serious you take your job.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Higher management levels did not really care for the direct reports. You were supposed to work, nothing else. There was no support for career aspirations.
Interessante Aufgaben
The topics were interesting. And you had to deal with them no matter how unexperienced you were.
Gleichberechtigung
I heard women culture was empowered on the surface. I did not oberserve women getting empowered to get promoted.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Cannot really comment on that. Made no observation.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Homeoffice was granted to everybody since the pandemic started and the company took care of providing all devices you needed for work.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
There is definitely room to improve. Colleague going to the office complained about running air condition and cold temperatures inside.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
The salary became almost fair if you worked long enough in the company. Of course, you have to negotiate every year anew and hope for a good compensation.

Inside the company the image started suffering in 2021. From then a lot of competent colleagues were rather kicked out or they decided to leave on their own.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There are a lot of trainings offered and it is up to you which one of them you attend. You also then have to plan carefully because the workload that cannot be done during training time, will have to be dealt with in your free time.
