scoutbee does everything possible to support the employees and it feels like we are even getting closer due to COVID-19.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
People at scoutbee are super happy that they can work from home at the moment and protect themselves and their loved ones. The motivation in the teams is still super high and we take the time to work on things we don't have time for normally.
Kommunikation
As we our teams are always on different locations (Würzburg, Berlin and Arlington) we are used to communicating via Slack and Zoom. But I would say that the communication became more through the homeoffice situation.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Thanks to a lot of virtual stand-ups, virtual lunch and coffee syncs (Donut), we all feel connected and with some colleagues even closer than "in normal times”.
Work-Life-Balance
Everybody in the company can do homeoffice with flexible working-hours and protect themselves from COVID-19, but also to take care for their kids. A lot of people use the time to do some sports (e.g. with online courses from Urban Sports Club, co-financed by scoutbee) or improve their German and English skills (Lingoda courses payed by scoutbee).
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The managers care a lot for their employees and reach out regularly in 1:1s to them. Also the Managing Directors keep us up to date in weekly All-Hands.
Interessante Aufgaben
As we are still growing and see COVID-19 also as a chance, there are a lot of interesting tasks and projects we are working on.
Gleichberechtigung
Everybody is included in the homeoffice policy - also students and interns and those who employees who went to their home countries to be there for their relatives.
Arbeitsbedingungen
All our systems and tools are in the cloud, so people can work from everywhere they have an internet connection. Our IT also did a great job and supported all employees with setting up good working conditions at home with a second screen.
