Fear of losing your job is not a good atmosphere. That was the reason for me to leave.
My direct boss at Spirent was a great person. I would recommend him as a Sales Director in any case. What I can´t recommend is the top and middle level management steering the company out of the US. They don´t work for a long term goal but only see the current situation - and mainly causing the situation by not knowing the situations and markets in the different locations. Their focus is strictly US. That´s why they are struggling with business in any other part of the world.
Great colleagues - sadly many have left or already decided to leave soon.
unclear product strategy with discontinuing interesting products and services gives no future perspective....
There´s no communication from above to the base.

not overpaid but good salary
If you´re working in HomeOffice, the conditions are good. In CE the conditions are good so far. For Sales, the perspective depends on the quota, that is absolutely ridiculous high. The problem, with this quota is - no products and no services to sell - no achievable quota.

Spirent had a brilliant outside image - that is history. They are going down. A pity.
