The recruiter scheduled a 30 minute call and then made it clear within the first few minutes that he had no intention of using that time. There was no introduction, no space for me to introduce myself, and no real conversation. He rushed through a handful of basic questions while visibly distracted, and it was apparent he was not listening to the answers at all. The whole thing was over in under ten minutes. He promised to follow up by end of day. No response ever came. The process was disorganized, dismissive, and reflected very poorly on the company. Candidates take time to prepare for interviews. The least a recruiter can do is show up ready to have an actual conversation.
