Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The trust, we are very independant in our work and are allowed to make decisions to meet the requirements.
Working on projects with new technologies and clean code, no headaches trying to fix trash in some legacy code from 20 years ago.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

We have external dependencies, which cannot keep up with our development speed.
This can demotivate passionate people that want to see their projects live in a reasonable time.

We need a bigger office since the company has grown so much from last year.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

You can start later, leave early, you are evaluated based on results not how you reach them. In essence good flexibility and no micro-management.

The only complaints I heard of are related to not going full remote, which in my opinion should not matter if you accept a hybrid job offer.

Flexible working hours, half week of home office, for me it works although I know some people want full remote.

As a startup there is a ton of work to do, lot of possibilities of steering your career towards what you want to do. We also get a personal development fund to keep learning things we are interested in.

Gehalt/Benefits

The salary is good but the benefits are lacking. I would like to see in the future gym and transportations costs covered.

My colleges so far are very talented and respectful. We have open discussions over disagreements and I have learned a lot from them.

My superior always has my back when problems arise, and involves me and takes my opinion into consideration when making decisions, which for me is essential to be happy at work.

Arbeitsbedingungen

We have very good equipment, windows surface Pro laptops, adjustable desks, apple company phones (which I profoundly dislike but it may be a plus for some), coffee machine with many types of milk for lactose intolerant people, snacks and tons of options for drinks.

Kommunikation

We have a very multi-cultural team which makes in some cases the communications quite challenging, but the company is very transparent and has a healthy feedback culture.

Interessante Aufgaben

We are an innovation unit, we work with the latest cloud technologies and are allowed to try out all kinds of cool stuff.
