It’s very unprofessional to give empty promises on a job interview and then send a decline with the reason “insert reason here” - they didnt even take the 1 minute to write a reason, and when i asked for it in an email i never got the answer. Overall very bad experience.
Real opportunities for a job and not using interviews as market research.
Totally unprofessional - it's a wonder how the company can be successful.
If it starts off so toxic, what is the working day like?
It's been a long time since I've seen anything like this. I guess the company is still living in the past.
I haven't seen anything like that. I feel sorry for the good People there.
Thanks for nothing and goodbye
Be professional and show respect for the time and efforts of the candidates applying for a position at the company.
- I experienced a total lack of flexibility in choosing interview times there was the option to choose only from their schedules, as only predetermined slots were offered by HR, and even after their confirmation the interviews I had were canceled and rescheduled again witch was totally unprofessional.
- Join the interview in the specified time for the meeting don't let the candidate wait and then waste theri time in keeping them more just to finish your questions and give them no time to ask their questions.
- Read the candidate CV before the interview so you don't waste their time in asking questions for the information that is already provided in the CV.
- Keep in mind that the candidates applying for a position are taking time from their day to have this interview, for the interviewer, it is part of their job responsibilities.
- Don't put candidates on 5-6 interviews it does not make sense for anyone to waste their time in 3 interviews and more than 2-weeks then just get rejected by email.
- Don't give candidates home assignment and waste their time when the feedback received is totally unprofessional, as the evaluation and rejection were based on criteria that were subjective and not outlined in the take-home assignment requirements.
The company's unprofessional and disrespectful treatment after my experience and the reviews I have seen from former employees and applicants has made me decide that I would not want to work there even in the future.
You should not have an applicant jump through hoops - interview with Direct Manager and Tech Lead, home assignment, Technical interval with QA lead and QA engineer. Although I have passed all these rounds, at the last round, a discussion with the CTO of the company, I am being rejected with a reason I am absolutely convinced it is made up.
Build a company´s culture where people would gladly stay and you want be fearing employees leaving the company after 1 year. If you can not do that and you keep promoting toxic people, than burn the place to the ground and stop wasting everybody´s time.
Apparently there are 4 Stages. They contacted me twice on the LinkedIn, so I said OK because I just left my old company. I had an interview with the Recruiter and she scheduled the Hiring Manager contacted me to arrange the second stage. Then out of the sudden the whole process was stopped and I received no confirmation from the hiring manager. A recruiter contacted me again and try to arrange a call because she wanted to confirm something. Every time she or I suggested a time for a call, it was never finally confirmed from her side (about 4 times). Mind that I always made sure that I am in a quiet room at the proposed time. At the end the call was after one week finally approved and she said they are not moving further with my application because one guy thinks my tenures are short and that raises concerns. My short tenures are actually the similar lengths what people normally stay at Bit Panda, which I found ironic, but also I had solid reasons for short tenures. I LinkedIn-ed the smart guy and he himself had even shorter tenures before joining the Bit Panda. Mind that I didn´t even apply to work at this place, they harassed me on the LinkedIn and wasted two weeks of my time. With all the bad reputation and kununu reviews they could be happy that people even show interest to work at this place.
So verdient kununu Geld.
