I believe this is highly dependent on the team, however my experience has been valuable, dynamic and fun. There are days that bring a lot of pressure due to the fast changing environment, however everyone is willing to assist at any given moment.
With the hybrid policy and quite flexible working hours, work-life balance throughout the week is manageable, however it takes some time to set your own priorities and get into the flow. Some days are longer, some days are more relaxed.
As an intern, Bitpanda does cover a satisfying salary that would be enough for one to live independently.
Due to 2 mandatory office days in a week, as a department we do spend quite a bit of time together and get a chance to work closely with one another.
Me, as a more social person, I use the company events to meet more people and it has been great so far. This is fully based on personal preferences and you can adapt as you wish.
Supervision and mentoring has been exceptional, everyone from the manager to the team members is more than willing to explain, help and give opportunity to learn more.
Working conditions in the headquarters are exceptional - ergonomic set ups, few lunch options per day, barista...
Bitpanda is a progressive company full of modern approaches, however communication from top-down can be quite last minute and that sometimes does bring slight frustration.
The magnitude of tasks has allowed me to grow in the past months like I would not in some companies for years. Besides standard daily tasks, there are always new things coming in - which also allowed me to test my grounds and see what I am the most interested in.
The culture of the organization is amazing. You can feel the good vibes all over the place. Everyone is nice, friendly and helpful.

Don't know about the other departments but the colleagues in HR are the biggest backstabbers ever. You can't trust them, colleagues talk behind your back and also go to your manager to complain about you and tell lies instead of speaking about an issue they have directly with you.
Management just looks for mistakes and ways to put you down- no motivation whatsoever. I had a feedback session for over an hour and in the end, I was completely distraught and in tears because they got very personal (didn't like the way I speak, they didn't like my gaze, didn't like the way I sit, etc). They are very unreasonable and are very happy to attack your personal qualities as mentioned above, no constructive criticism whatsoever
Communication is absolutely terrible - people get annoyed when you ask them questions, on the other hand, if you do it on your own and you do some mistakes they will criticize you for it big time. So basically, there is no real onboarding, you don't get things explained and if you make mistakes get ready to hear it in of their wonderful 360° feedbacks.
There are many interesting tasks you can do and also as an intern you don't do just the "typical" stuff but you get to do advanced stuff as well
Everyone is very friendly and helpful, felt very welcomed. The warmest atmosphere I have ever experienced in a work place.
Work Life balance is beyond my expectations. There is a fine line in between where they nearly never overlap.
Everyone is very professional and warm at the same time.
The goals that are set and awaited to be accomplished are very realistic and on the way much assistance is provided by your collogues.

Bitpanda is a very diverse working place, where not only genders differ but also people from different origins come to work in the same atmosphere. I have never seen anyone get mistreated in regards to their gender or cultural background.

Start-Up Environment. Love it or hate it
I truely have the feeling that my employer is taking care of their employees' wellfare (company doctor, psychologist, gym membership, free meals, etc.).
Nicht nur während der Arbeit sondern auch nachher, z.B. bei (Team) Events war die Atmosphäre im Team immer angenehm und freundlich. Viele Themen wurden mit dem Team besprochen und auf die Meinung anderer wurde Wert gelegt. Das selbe gilt größtenteils auch für Kollegen/Innen außerhalb des eigenen Teams.
Im Team war die Kommunikation immer super, auch regelmäßige größere Meetings etc. geben einen Überblick über andere Bereiche der Firma und die weiteren Ziele.
