Work atmosphere is great at Burton. Even when working from home you can still feel the team spirit, motivation from your managers and inclusion in the team. It is a very modern and fun place to work at.
Kommunikation
Many colleagues spend their free time with each other as well. Therefore, information travels very fast (the important and the gossip). Due to regular updates and meetings with the national and international Management, employees are always up to date. Information about 'how the business and it's people are doing' is communicated transparently.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
I work with the most amazing people (& dogs) sharing the same interests and values (sports, the outdoors, environment, equality, etc.) We go riding in the morning when there is fresh snow and biking after work when the sun is still up. Everyone plays hard, but also works hard!

Hierarchy is very flat. We all eat lunch at the same table in our kitchen. One day you will be sharing your salad with the intern, the next day with the general manager. A lot of the times employees are involved in decisions by participating in employee surveys.

50% of the employees are women and the promotion prospects are the same for everyone.

Arbeitsbedingungen
The office has just been renovated. Every employee has an adjustable table, comfortable chair and modern working equipment (laptop, docking station, etc.).
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Burton is a Certified B Corporation and is definitely looking out for the environment, people, and animals more than most other companies in the industry. Sometimes there are contradictions though. For example when there is a raffle to win a pickup truck. Or some employees driving polluting cars themselves, just for the status.
