Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Office location is good, as well as the office itself. Food can be paid with an Edenred card.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

The approach to treating employees, intransparent communication, seeing employee only as a source of money
Stop hiring incompetent students and sell them to the customers as experts! It definitely doesn't improve image of the company

Verbesserungsvorschläge

Listen to your employees, consider them as a real asset and not as a number in controlling. Qualified employees are the main source of income in consulting and deserve to be treated accordingly.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

The atmosphere in the office is ok in general - but only if you don't know how many colleagues have left the company or were fired.

Kommunikation

Communication from top-management is extremely intransparent. Every monthly AHOD call starts with speeches about how many new bids are in the pipeline and how great the sales team work. Nevertheless, the bids never move forward to becoming an actual project and are never mentioned again in the next meetings.
Additionally, it is always communicated how great the company is doing. But when it comes to paying the yearly bonus, things suddenly get really bad and "the market is not the best at the moment". Which leads to the fact that an important part of yearly salary gets cut, even though all personal development goals were achieved.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Don't expect to have a team which you will work with on daily basis (which is typical for consulting though). Everyone is working for different clients. There is almost no communication in the team, except some management updates, reminders to fill up time sheets and enter vacations in the system.

Work-Life-Balance

Better compared to other consulting companies, if you are lucky with the client.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Team managers do their best to solve employees' problems and reduce frustration. The main problem is top management which apparently doesn't have any understanding about how things work in the real world out there.

Interessante Aufgaben

Most of projects are personnel leasing which is far away from "real" consulting. There are no stable teams which work on dedicated topics as external experts. You are just sold/leased to the customer, whatever the conditions. If you are lucky and the customer is ok, you can get interesting tasks. But if you are not and the customer is not a good fit for you, your wishes just don't matter at all.

Gleichberechtigung

Can't complain much here - everyone is treated equally bad

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

Currently mostly students are hired. So the average age is below 30.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Monitors on every table were a big announcement couple of months ago. Which says a lot about work conditions.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Sustainability is communicated as a big topic, no actual measures are taken though. Booking a flight to a customer in Munich is a usual thing.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Really low compared to other consulting companies which could be partially justified by work-life balance. Salary discussions are extremely intransparent, they basically don't exist. A big part of salary is covered with a bonus which is seen as optional by top management.

Image

Not really famous compared to other consulting companies, but a middle player in IT consulting

Karriere/Weiterbildung

Every employee can create a development plan with the manager which includes certifications or courses. The budget for development is really low though. If you haven't managed to complete a certification in the first half of the year, most likely there won't be any money left in August.
