Once a great company, now unrecognizable
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The atmosphere has soured noticeably since the US takeover. Constant uncertainty and constant layoffs make it hard to feel settled.
Image
Reputation has taken a real hit since the US restructuring. I don’t think the company will survive long-term in its current form.
Work-Life-Balance
Constant restructuring and layoff cycles create pressure that spills into personal time. It is hard to switch off when job security feels uncertain.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Manager / VP-level external hires keep increasing while operational headcount shrinks and layoffs happen almost monthly. Completely contradictory to any real career development.
Gehalt/Benefits
Salaries feel randomly assigned, and performance-based raises are minimal to non-existent. On top of that, non-compete clauses make it very difficult to move to another company.
Employees who try can expect legal letters from corporate lawyers. Hardly employee-friendly.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Not a visible priority under current leadership.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Colleagues on the ground still support each other, but that’s despite the situation, not because of it.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Average age probably between 30-40.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
„Leadership“ shows no real direction or initiative. Everything handed down from the US is implemented blindly, regardless of whether it fits the local business. The more you do what C-Level likes, the higher you will be positioned.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Working conditions have declined alongside the constant restructuring and resources feel stretched thin at the operational level.
Kommunikation
Communication mostly flows one-way: top-down from the US, with little regard for input from local teams.
Decisions land without explanation.
Gleichberechtigung
Pay equity is a real issue: talking to colleagues, it’s clear women often earn less than men for comparable roles.
Interessante Aufgaben
Meaningless, because strategy changed every quarter.
