Unless significant changes are made to address the issues mentioned above, I cannot recommend Cloudflight as a good place to work.

Make the environment more stable and inclusive. The constant restructuring, lack of clear leadership, and arbitrary employment policies create an unsustainable working environment.

Hire and Fire Policy: The company has a 'hire and fire' policy that can catch you off guard. Several colleagues were let go without any pre-warning, sometimes even on the last day of their probationary period.

Restructuring as a Standard: The company goes through a restructuring at least every six months. This creates a sense of instability and uncertainty for all employees, not just new hires.

Work-Life-Balance

Flexible Working Hours: The company offers a flexible working schedule, which can be convenient.

Insecurity: There is a palpable sense of insecurity here. I had to report to several different people in a short period, and it was often unclear who was responsible for what. No one took responsibility for mentoring or guiding new hires, making the initial learning curve steeper than necessary.

Lack of Community and Diversity: The office culture is dominated by a consultant-sales group primarily interested in typical tech-male topics. The claim of having a diverse and inclusive community felt like empty promises.

Ageism: There is an unspoken bias against employees over 30, who are not considered for the fast-track career opportunities that are made available to younger colleagues.

Empty Words on Remote Culture: Although the company promotes a remote-friendly culture, living closer to the office definitely has its advantages in terms of visibility and career progression.
