Bad upper management make for a questionable workplace with a good mission statement
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
I liked my team, my managers were always humans and cared about how we performed and what we could do to improve our performance.
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The upper management.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The office is oversized and dead as it was set up when the company was in hypergrowth phase, and not representative of the workplace
Kommunikation
Generally this improved over time, but it started from a terrible place
Kollegenzusammenhalt
My team members were always excellent - it has the startup feeling where people are working on a common cause.
Work-Life-Balance
Remote work enables clear boundaries. People accept when you say no (upper management not included)
Interessante Aufgaben
Job roles change without much clear guidance, it leads to a compression of tasks that are more maintenance than development
Gleichberechtigung
At its largest, my team was diverse (not just white men)
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Age was not a factor really in dealing with people
Arbeitsbedingungen
I worked from home, which was a fight to get originally. The office is modern, just empty.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
The social responsibility of education is made into an effective joke through the product and management directions.
Gehalt/Benefits
They pay reasonably - the biggest benefit was remote work.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There was limited support, unless you were a developer working with AI to eliminate your own role.
