It's getting worse
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
infrastructure, good accessability, many of the colleagues, health program
Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich
dictatorial corporate management
Verbesserungsvorschläge
take on more staff, install works council, adjust demands on individual employees to time reality.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
the employees no longer dare to express their opinions and swallow even the most absurd developments due to fear of the consequences. The situation has changed for the worse, especially because of the absurdly high demands placed on (academic) staff in order to obtain AACSB certification. The burnout rate is high.
Kommunikation
employees do not have a say. The company is controlled by one person/family.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
everyone is trying to keep the own head above water, and the fact that the majority of employees barely find time for their own work means there is no time to help others.
Work-Life-Balance
depends on the department.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
there are instructions from above that must be followed and enforced downwards. Even as a manager you have no leeway.
Gleichberechtigung
part-time employees (mostly female) are disadvantaged
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
there is no distinction made based on how old someone is, not even when they are laid off, as could be seen in the recent past
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
environmental awareness yes, social awareness hardly. A works council would be necessary for a company of this size.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
it pays quite well for Lower Austria, but if you consider what qualifications you need (doctoral degree, multilingualism, ...) the salary is rather average compared to other companies. No collective agreement.
Image
the image used to be better in my perception
Karriere/Weiterbildung
no individual career plans, training according to the watering can principle
