Regional Controller - Americas__
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: remote (#Li-Remote) and can be anywhere in the U.S.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Partner with business leadership to develop and execute the U.S. Electrification Services strategy, translating goals into business plans, forecasts, and results.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and risk management across the US organization, ensuring alignment with ABB's overall strategy.
- Provide financial leadership and business insight, monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and advise top management on strategic, operational, and commercial decision-making.
- Ensure transparency, and optimize performance with a strong internal control mentality, ensuring financial processes and metrics are compliant.
- Oversee project financials including job costing, billing, revenue recognition, and collections, with strong internal controls and compliance.
- Follow a detailed process consistently.
- Manage timely month-end closing activities and reporting to ensure the highest level of precision.

Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a leadership role in Finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar.
- Experience with SAP, and proficient in Excel.
- Experience with contracting, and excellent attention to details.
