Roche is seeking a legal trainee (Referendar) to join the People Relations department for their elective station. The role involves working in a collaborative team to develop innovative solutions for optimizing working conditions within an international corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Handling national and international labor law issues.
• Drafting legal opinions on labor, works constitution, and social security law, and assisting in contract drafting.
• Advising managers and HR staff on personnel-related topics.
• Participating in the preparation of negotiations with employee representatives.
• Independently managing sub-projects.

Requirements

• Currently a legal trainee (Rechtsreferendar) having successfully passed the first state examination.
• Knowledge of and interest in labor law and economic contexts.
• Independent, responsible, and open-minded approach to new ideas.
• Proficiency in English and comfort in communicating with international stakeholders.
