Technical Product Owner - Digital Health Platform, Secure Cloud

Roche Digital Technology is seeking a Technical Product Owner to join the Secure Account Management (SAM) team. This role focuses on managing cloud infrastructure, security, and governance for Roche's digital product portfolio. You will own the product roadmap for SAM's cloud services, balancing security, compliance, and developer experience while driving the platform toward self-service and automation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and communicate the product roadmap for cloud landing zones and associated services.
• Act as the voice of platform customers, gathering feedback and maintaining transparency in the request lifecycle.
• Drive platform evolution toward automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and API-first interfaces.
• Manage the developer experience, documentation lifecycle, and change management practices.
• Define and track success metrics such as platform adoption, onboarding time, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with security, compliance, and architecture teams to ensure regulatory alignment (HIPAA, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Contribute to the strategy for extending cloud services to external partners.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of total IT experience, with at least 4 years in Product Leadership (software product management, platform/infrastructure context).
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to facilitate technical discussions across DevOps, security, and compliance.
• Experience with agile principles (Kanban/Scrum) and backlog management.
• Minimum 4 years of technical experience, including hands-on work with AWS (IAM, Organizations, Identity Center).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Terragrunt) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Previous experience as a cloud engineer, DevOps engineer, SRE, or architect.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices and global cloud infrastructure topologies.
