The ERP Test Manager serves as the strategic architect and operational guardian of the ASPIRE Test Methodology within Roche Digital Technology. This role involves identifying operational gaps, engineering new processes, and ensuring compliance with Computer System Validation (CSV) and quality standards. The manager acts as the primary defender of processes during audits and leads system upgrade architectures, balancing regulatory rigor with operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the ASPIRE Test Methodology, ensuring alignment with CSV and Quality teams.
• Author technical documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, and User Guides.
• Manage test phases (SAT, UAT, RT) to ensure adherence to the global release calendar.
• Monitor testing metrics, defect rates, and resource allocation, and present Test Summary Reports.
• Act as the lead SME for testing during internal and external quality audits.
• Proactively audit the testing lifecycle to identify friction points and deploy improved workflows.
• Mentor a support team and provide strategic consulting to project teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in high-impact software quality assurance and managing quality engineering teams.
• Deep operational knowledge of GxP, Computer System Validation (CSV), and regulated environments (Life Sciences, Pharma, or Medical Devices).
• Proven track record of defending testing processes during regulatory inspections (FDA, EMA).
• Expertise in SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), SAP Focused Build, or modern ALM tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder networks, manage conflicts, and influence senior leadership.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a focus on strategic innovation.
