Deck Outfitting Designer (m/f/d)

Ferchau Poland invites Deck Outfitting Designer to join our team in Poland. We are looking for someone who will bring additional value to our team. We are looking for an inquiring mind with a passion for quality.

Your responsibilities

• Design and development of deck outfitting systems
• Preparing and creating technical documentation, layouts, BOM, production drawings
• Verification of designs for compliance with Classification Society (e.g. DNV, ABV, and others) and project requirements
• Cooperation with other departments to ensure smooth project delivery
• Participation in design reviews and technical meetings

Skills and Qualifications

• BSc/MSc degree in Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline
• Proficiency knowledge of one of following tools: Aveva Hull & Outfitting, Cadmatic Outfitting, Foran or Siemens NX
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German will be advantage
• Strong communicative skills
• Ability to work under pressure of time and deadlines
• Great self-organized skills and focus on detail
• Open-minded and cooperative working style within a multicultural and international context
