Your tasks:

  • Act as a role model by building and maintaining excellent working relationships with individual Group HR teams and local sales and operations teams to ensure that our stakeholders receive enhanced HR partnership and operational support.
  • Manage DACH staffing through full-cycle recruiting efforts.  Ensure effective on-boarding of new employees and conduct orientations.
  • Driving a mind-set around engagement to improve business results by supporting People Leaders, through providing strong, solutioned focused leadership on people related issues along with analysis of data and continuous action planning.
  • Work with DACH management team to coach and performance manage employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors. Serve as a resource to employees who have problems affecting their performance or employment, offering advice, counsel, and outside Resources as appropriate.
  • Ensure legal compliance with all DACH countries by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legal requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.  Develop strong relationships with DACH solicitors to manage employee relations as required. 
  • Being responsible for ensuring effective employee relations culture through regular and timely dialogue with Works Council as well as managing cooperation with the works council, including the negotiation of works agreements
  • Travel to DACH offices to develop and maintain a strong partnership with the management and office teams.  Assess their needs and provide developmental and leadership assistance.
  • Schedule and conduct job evaluations.  Work with the Global Comp and Benefits Manager to recommend, plan, and implement pay structure revisions.
  • Maintain employee benefit programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing needs and trends; recommending benefit programs to Global Compensation & Benefits Manager.  Answer day to day employee benefit questions, processes enrollment, and conducts educational programs on benefits.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Assist with all other related HR projects and plans as requested or required.

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree. 5 - 7 years of experience in the human resources field with progressively advancing positions.   Working HR experience and knowledge with different Countries and employment laws required. 
  • Extensive experience in a similar Strategic HR Business Partner role with a focus on change management - ideally within a large matrix organisation.
  • Experience supporting Senior Stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Strong evidence of business acumen and broad cross-functional commercial understanding.
  • Diversity of thinking along with strong influencing and negotiation skills and assertiveness.
  • Solid knowledge in German Labour Law
  • Experience in working with works council
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in both German and English.  
  • Ability to travel within Europe
  • Confident handling of MS365
