Was die Firma über den Job sagt

It's more than a job

As part of the HR team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will help build careers, nurture talent, and empower people to succeed. Your work doesn’t stop at HR - it drives the entire supply chain forward. By attracting and developing the right people, you ensure that our operations run smoothly, so medical equipment reaches hospitals on time, toys arrive in stores for the holidays, and fresh flowers make it to local florists. Every great logistics solution starts with great people - and that’s where you come in.

Kuehne+Nagel is hiring an HR Business Partner to support the key business areas of Sea Logistics, Project Logistics, and Nacora. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for the United States, you'll partner with senior leaders to turn business strategy into people strategy and make a measurable difference to how we perform.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where you'll be a trusted advisor to leadership, a coach to managers, and a champion for the employees who drive these business areas forward. If you love using data to shape decisions and you're energized by solving complex people challenges in a fast-moving, global logistics environment, we'd love to hear from you.

How you create impact

  • Build genuine, trusted partnerships with senior leaders across Sea Logistics, Project Logistics, and Nacora to set HR's strategic direction and drive business effectiveness.
  • Work alongside managers to make sure their teams have the skills and resources to hit their goals.
  • Design and deliver plans for recruitment, training, restructuring, and succession, and help leaders bring them to life.
  • Coach managers to engage their people and lead more effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our industry, our business, and where we're headed.
  • Partner with our Centers of Excellence and Shared Service Center to build and deliver HR solutions tailored to your business units.
  • Analyze trends and metrics, then translate the data into insight that guides decisions and lifts engagement, commitment, and retention.
  • Own and maintain clear project and stage plans, applying solid business-case and risk-management thinking throughout.

What we would like you to bring

  • A bachelor's degree plus 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in a multinational company.
  • Experience supporting business clients in a matrix environment.
  • At least five years in employee relations, with strong exposure to employee and/or labor relations and HR policy development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage every level of the organization.
  • An organized, methodical, process-oriented approach, and the ability to juggle multiple projects against tight deadlines.
  • Experience across multiple locations and/or business units, handling a broad range of HR matters with senior stakeholders.
  • The flexibility to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice.
  • PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification.

Who we are

Logistics shapes everyday life - from the goods we consume to the healthcare we rely on. At Kuehne+Nagel, your work goes beyond logistics; it enables both ordinary and special moments in the lives of people around the world.

As a global leader with a strong heritage and a vision to move the world forward, we offer a safe, stable environment where your career can make a real difference. Whether we help deliver life-saving medicines, develop sustainable transportation solutions or support our local communities, your career will contribute to more than you can imagine.
