Lead with vision - secure innovation through strong regulations!
You’re passionate about bringing technically sophisticated and innovative products to customers around the world - quickly and safely. With your enthusiasm for both people and technology, you and your team take a leading role in shaping practical, hands-on regulatory and approvals work for a large part of Hilti’s product portfolio.
You contribute to your team’s success through your leadership skills and your ability to support and develop employees. What sets you apart is your empathy, clarity, and natural talent for engaging and motivating others.
In your leadership role, you actively drive the strategic development of approvals for your portfolio and contribute to cross-functional work in regulations and standardization. In close collaboration with all key stakeholders in the relevant development areas, you ensure the sustainable implementation of our innovation pipeline.
At the same time, this position offers you a clear, long-term development perspective: In the coming years, you will build deep expertise in a central, future-oriented area of product development and global regulatory management. This opens up realistic opportunities for further advancement - for example, taking on strategic responsibilities in the areas of regulations, standardization, or compliance, or moving into a leadership role in other areas, such as a business unit. This position is explicitly aimed at individuals who want to take on more responsibility within the company in the medium term and are willing to actively help shape this path.
What You’ll Bring
- Degree in a technical or scientific discipline
- Around 10 years of relevant international experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field; ideally in industries such as power tools, home appliances, garden equipment, or medical technology
- Expertise in product regulations and standardization, with solid knowledge of relevant norms, legal requirements, and their implementation in international approval processes
- Proven leadership experience with a people-centered management style
- Strong driver mindset: proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to taking ownership and pushing topics forward
- Open, clear, and confident communicator; able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all organizational levels
- High level of personal responsibility, a structured way of working, and a genuine interest in taking on responsibility in a dynamic, international environment
- Fluent in English; good command of German is a plus
