Squad Lead - Ophthalmology
The Ophthalmology Squad Lead is responsible for setting and executing the Outcome Based Plan for the Ophthalmology therapy area in India. This role requires strong visionary, architectural, catalyst, and coaching capabilities to deliver on therapy area ambitions, drive execution excellence, and shape systems through strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inspirational leadership to set and achieve the strategic vision and ambition for the cluster.
- Create an environment where diverse technical disciplines align to pursue the organization's North Star ambition.
- Coach PJPs and peers to ensure individual and team growth aligned with organizational needs.
- Act as a guardian for compliance, ethics, and safety, ensuring all actions are patient-centric and adhere to the Code of Conduct.
- Co-create and execute strategic partnerships to improve the penetration of innovations in corporate and regional accounts.
- Ensure alignment of goals, strategy, and execution between the Disease Area squad and Cluster priorities.
- Foster cross-organizational collaboration to remove silos and ensure efficient use of skill sets.
Requirements
- Preferred experience in the Ophthalmology therapy area.
- Proven track record of effective people leadership in functional or network teams.
- Customer-facing experience in the pharmaceutical healthcare industry.
