Sales Manager

AVL Korea Co. Ltd. offers a job in Korea (the Republic of) (KR) as

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Manager to serve as the vital link between our Business Units (BU) and the local market.

In this role, you will take on the dual responsibility of acting as the Account Business Manager (ABM) and a Business Team Leader, ensuring seamless integration between global strategy and local execution.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Linkage & Market Growth

  • BU-Affiliate Alignment: Ensuring seamless synchronization between global segments and local sales execution
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy: Leading local product launches and defining the sales approach for the affiliate
  • Market Intelligence: Analyzing Market Trends and performing Customer Needs Analysis to influence the global product roadmap
  • Sector Focus: Driving aggressive business development in Electrification, Hydrogen Industries, and Future Mobility

Commercial & Technical Excellence

  • Order & Margin Management: Accountable for the annual budget, forecasting, and securing profitable growth (Attractive Margins)
  • Pre-Sales & Technical Support: Overseeing Solution Operations(SO) and Technical Sales Support(TSS) to ensure high-quality proposal delivery
  • Technical Authority: Acting as the primary decision-maker for technical methodologies and complex solution providing

Leadership & Talent Orchestration

  • People Management: Full responsibility for Disciplinary & Professional Management of direct staff
  • Capacity Planning: Aligning team resources with project demands based on individual capabilities
  • Skill Development: Leading Know-how Transfer and continuous training in Leading Technologies

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor/Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • >5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Business development attitude and strategic mindset
  • Strategic marketing skills
  • Market understanding
  • Team operation capability with professional leadership and interpersonal skills
  • System, Product and Application knowledge concerning the BU portfolio
  • Technical / commercial skills & education according to need of BU portfolio
  • Structured approach to work, analytical thinking, communication, pronounced social skills and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
