The Position
The role involves developing production, capacity, resource, and material requirement plans to meet sales demands while maintaining optimal inventory levels. The position focuses on enhancing integrated production planning to maximize facility utilization and reconcile site activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage the PT Shanghai budget process, ensuring alignment with cross-functional teams and acting as the China point of contact for global reporting.
- Develop site production capacity, resource, and master production schedules based on sales demand and inventory levels.
- Oversee material requirement planning for packaging and excipients to prevent shortages.
- Monitor procurement, production, testing, and release processes, leading cross-functional coordination to address variances.
- Coordinate site activities and projects to minimize negative impacts on production.
- Collaborate with regional and global planners to exchange data and secure resources.
- Manage CMO product supply plans and inventory levels for finished goods and drug substances.
- Lead, coach, and develop the production and material planning team.
Qualifications
- Degree holder.
- Over 10 years of working experience, with more than 8 years in production planning preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP (PP&MM modules, APO).
- Strong English proficiency (CET6) and computer skills.
- Excellent management, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and foster cross-functional cooperation.
