Solution/Platform Architect - Data Platforms

The Platform Architect for Data Experience & BI Platforms is responsible for the design, development, and oversight of the organization's BI architecture. This role ensures the BI platforms are robust, scalable, and secure, enabling actionable insights and strategic decision-making through trusted, governed, and conversational access to unified enterprise knowledge for both people and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for the BI ecosystem, including insights, reporting tools, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Oversee the configuration and integration of BI tools with various data sources.
• Drive the adoption of AI and conversational analytics into the BI landscape.
• Monitor platform performance, resolve bottlenecks, and implement best practices for data governance and security.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical specifications and provide mentorship to engineering teams.
• Establish standards for data quality, lineage, and metadata management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data warehousing, and data architecture.
• Proven experience designing large-scale, complex BI solutions using cloud-based platforms like Snowflake or Redshift.
• Expertise with major BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Thoughtspot) and AWS platforms.
• Understanding of DWH, Data Lakes, RDBMS, OLTP, and OLAP.
• Knowledge of AI integration patterns, LLM integrations, and MCP concepts.
• Familiarity with data governance, security principles, and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation skills with fluency in English.
