DevOps Infrastructure Engineer & Validation Engineer

As a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer & Validation Engineer, you will independently solve technical business problems and contribute to projects requiring knowledge in DevOps and infrastructure management. You will work closely with IT Quality and Enterprise Cloud teams to ensure adherence to ITSM and IDLC standards and maintain platform qualified status.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of platforms and services, applying software engineering principles to build large-scale IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, self-service tools, and self-healing features.
• Ensure infrastructure services meet agreed SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs while complying with QA requirements.
• Monitor and resolve incidents, participate in blameless postmortems, and contribute to Disaster Recovery plans.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to improve development velocity and service reliability.
• Ensure solutions comply with Quality/Regulatory standards and implement cost, compliance, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to research technical topics, learn new tools quickly, and develop expertise in Cloud and DevOps practices.
• Effective teamwork skills, including participation in discussions and code reviews.
• Basic understanding of core AWS, Azure, GCP, and CaaS services.
• Hands-on experience building Cloud applications via Terraform or CDK.
• Familiarity with Gitlab/Github, SDLC practices, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies (SAFe).
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or Bash and testing frameworks like Pytest.
• Openness to using AI assistants for learning, code generation, and debugging.
• Familiarity with incident response, ITSM processes, and proactive troubleshooting.
