Medical Network Expert/Lead

The Medical Network Expert/Lead serves as the interface between China Medical Affairs, cross-functional strategy teams, and global teams to deliver integrated medical strategy plans for specific disease areas. This role involves understanding customer needs, leveraging external stakeholder insights, and collaborating with global teams to provide China-specific insights for products in development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical insights to disease area medical squad discussions.
• Develop medical components of China integrated strategies in collaboration with MSA stakeholders.
• Coordinate medical strategy plans including insights, innovations, evidence, guidelines, and scientific exchanges.
• Build and manage a robust KOL network for medical insights and advocacy.
• Review internal outputs for medical accuracy and patient centricity.
• Support an agile, open, and inclusive team environment.
• Provide support for medical affairs tasks and respond to information requests regarding products.
• Identify opportunities for cross-functional cooperation to maximize resource utilization.

Requirements

• MD, PhD, or PharmD with relevant disease area experience.
• 4+ years of experience in developing and implementing medical strategies within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Clinical research and trial management experience with the ability to interact confidently with KOLs.
• Strong knowledge of applicable research and literature.
• Fluent English skills with excellent presentation and teaching abilities.
