Field Engineering Specialist

Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to join the Roche Support Network. This role focuses on providing exceptional technical support to laboratory customers through on-site service, installation, and repair of Roche product lines.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to perform routine technical support, installations, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for technical and service-related issues.
• Document all service activities and contribute to quality improvement initiatives to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma with 2 years of technical school or equivalent military/work experience.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware, software, or networking; or a Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience.
• Successful completion of required RD Services training and certification.
• Ability to travel, including overnight travel.
• Preferred: Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, IT, and basic chemistry, with the ability to provide after-hours and weekend support.
