Procurement Coordinator

As a Procurement Coordinator for Roche Diagnostics Colombia, you will lead the strategic sourcing vision to ensure optimal spend management. You will act as a key business partner, integrating early into planning processes to deliver high-quality purchasing solutions that meet internal stakeholder needs and drive business value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key purchasing categories aligned with business objectives.
• Lead negotiations with strategic suppliers and conduct market analysis to identify the best products and services.
• Manage the end-to-end Requisition to Pay (R2P) process, ensuring productivity, quality, and timely response.
• Identify and mitigate supply risks through robust continuity and contingency plans.
• Ensure full compliance with codes of conduct during supplier pre-qualification and audits.
• Implement Category Management (CATMAN) principles to leverage demand and optimize annual bidding plans.
• Provide training and support on procurement platforms like SAP and Smartsheet.
• Monitor KPIs and savings reports to support executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or International Business.
• Over 4 years of experience in leadership or coordination roles within procurement, logistics, or process improvement.
• Advanced negotiation skills and experience managing complex category strategies.
• Advanced English proficiency and experience with MS Office and G-Suite.
• Systemic thinking and the ability to achieve results through cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred: Experience in Diagnostics, Technology, or Aeronautics industries; knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Management); familiarity with SRM and Risk Management tools.
