Patient Journey Partner Ophthalmology

As a Patient Journey Partner at Roche, you will serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders involved in the care path for patients with eye conditions. Your primary goal is to accelerate access to innovative treatments and improve patient outcomes. You will act as a bridge between external stakeholders, such as ophthalmologists and physician assistants, and Roche's internal expertise, building sustainable partnerships to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Responsibilities

• Map the full patient journey, identify bottlenecks, and translate insights into a pragmatic national strategy.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with ophthalmologists, physician assistants, and care managers to improve access to care.
• Co-create practical solutions with healthcare professionals to support the use of innovative therapies.
• Drive the introduction and lifecycle management of innovative medicines and care solutions.
• Collaborate with and coach a multidisciplinary team to ensure an integrated approach.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in a medical or health science field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or healthcare-related field-based role within the pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industry.
• Experience in ophthalmology and an existing network is a strong advantage; experience with MedTech in this specialty is welcome.
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to project implementation.
• Experience in coaching or guiding others, formally or informally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to act effectively in a competitive market.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English.
