Medical Science Manager

As a field-based Medical Science Manager, you will serve as a medical expert for a specific disease area and its related biomarkers. You will be responsible for developing and executing field medical strategies, driving data generation activities, and establishing long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with experts and investigators. Your role involves leading the implementation of tactical medical plans, identifying collaboration opportunities, and ensuring strict adherence to corporate policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor field medical plans aligned with country medical strategies.
• Collect and analyze stakeholder insights to inform clinical practices and research interests.
• Provide scientific support for cross-functional partners, including medical training and query handling.
• Lead local innovative business models, such as regional pathology referral centers.
• Manage data generation activities, including evidence planning, RWE, clinical studies, and investigator-initiated studies.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange by translating clinical evidence into local value messages for healthcare professionals.
• Support market access efforts by providing scientific information for value dossiers and payer discussions.
• Ensure all medical initiatives comply with internal SOPs and local regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Medicine, Pharmacy, or Bioscience (Clinical Medicine preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a medical-related role within the pharmaceutical industry for Bioscience backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of the assigned therapeutic area.
• Proven experience in delivering scientific presentations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and project management skills.
• Ability to drive commitments within a matrix team environment.
• For Senior roles: At least 2 years of equivalent experience in a medical function with demonstrated expertise in data generation and project management.
