Software Frontend Engineer - Test Automation, 80-100% (f/m/x)

Your role

• Collaborate with an agile Scrum team on new and exciting products for the digital power grid of the future
• Have a critical eye on software quality and address potential improvements
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle - from refining requirements and defining test cases to ensuring the delivery of high-quality product releases
• Develop and maintain the test automation for our StationScout and StationGuard desktop and web applications
• Analyze complex system behavior, investigate failures and help improve product reliability
• Your ideas for improvement will influence our development process and you will take part in code reviews

What makes you a great fit

• An educational background in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining automated UI tests for complex systems, ideally using WebdriverIO or similar tools
• Enjoying writing clean, maintainable code in TypeScript and feeling comfortable with Node.js, Git and modern development workflows
• Debugging frontend issues in a structured way, including problems related to React, asynchronous behaviour, browser rendering and flaky end-to-end tests
• A structured, autonomous and reliable way of working
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
• Feeling comfortable working in English and in an international environment
• Certifications like ISTQB (or similar qualifications) are a plus
