As a Secure Software Architect TPM you will be joining a team that is developing next-generation embedded software products for a wide range of security applications.

This is an opportunity for an experienced software architect and technical leader to define and drive the architecture and implementation of a Trusted Platform Module solution. You will be able to shape security architectures and bridge customer needs, industry standards, and cutting-edge technology to create highly secure, scalable, and certifiable software solutions used worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer requirements and use cases, standards, and system constraints into clear software architecture designs and implementation concepts.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, including TPM 2.0, Trusted Computing Group specifications, and relevant security certification requirements.

  • Design and develop secure embedded software for Trusted Platform Module applications, with a strong focus on quality, robustness, and long-term maintainability.

  • Provide technical guidance to development teams, including architecture decisions, design reviews, and code reviews.

  • Monitor software quality, relevant KPIs, and development progress, and drive actions to achieve agreed targets.

  • Collaborate closely with system, SOC, and test architects throughout the concept phase and project execution to ensure technical alignment.

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a comparable field.

  • At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in embedded software development, software architecture, or secure product development.

  • Hands-on experience in embedded software development and working with complex software stacks and secure software update mechanisms.

  • Knowledge of Trusted Platform Module and TPM Software Stack specifications is desirable.

  • Experience with Java Card operating systems or similar secure execution environments is an advantage.

  • Experience with Common Criteria, AVA_VAN attack-resistance evaluation, FIPS 140, TCG certification, or comparable security certification schemes is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with ARM, RISC-V or other processor architectures is an advantage.

  • Good understanding of cryptographic algorithms, secure key and certificate handling, secure boot, attestation, and secure software design principles.

  • Proven ability to technically lead, guide, and align multi-site software development teams.

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

At NXP, your ideas will help secure the technologies shaping tomorrow, from smart devices to industrial systems and beyond. You will work with world-class experts, influence strategic architecture decisions, and contribute to solutions deployed across global markets.
