IT Business Analyst - RDT Biometrics and Clinical Evidence

The Principal Business Analyst is a senior, high-impact role at the intersection of clinical science, product strategy, and technology delivery. This role owns the vision, innovation pipeline, and feature delivery of the Study Designer, a flagship product designed to optimize clinical trial design.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary link between clinical/scientific teams and product engineering, facilitating discovery workshops and representing the clinical user's voice.
• Define and own the feature roadmap, fostering innovation through design thinking and tracking success metrics.
• Author precise user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria while partnering with UX for wireframes and prototypes.
• Translate complex clinical workflows into structured technical requirements, collaborating with engineers on architecture and data modeling.
• Partner with QA and architects to ensure feature scalability and support UAT execution.
• Drive agile delivery, manage the product backlog, and lead agile ceremonies.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clinical and scientific leadership regarding digital capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management or senior business analysis, with 5+ years in clinical trial design or life sciences.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Sciences, Computer Science, or Information Systems (Master's or PhD preferred).
• Proven track record managing end-to-end product lifecycles and writing structured requirements.
• Solid understanding of software development concepts, including APIs, data models, and cloud platforms.
• Extensive experience with agile/scrum frameworks and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Scientific fluency to engage in protocol design conversations and systems thinking to connect features to clinical workflows.
• Strong leadership and influence skills with the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
