We are looking for a strategic portfolio leader to shape and drive a global Automation portfoliowithin the Energy Industry division. This role sits at the intersection of technology, business strategy, innovation, and market growth, ensuring our portfolio remains upgradeable, scalable, and aligned with evolving customer needs.

As Head of Portfolio Management, you will define portfolio priorities, influence investment decisions, and guide the evolution of our automation, software, digital, and AI-enabled offerings. Working closely with executive leaders, Product Management, R&D, Sales, and Business Lines, you will help shape the future direction of one of the industry's leading automation and energy portfolios.

The work model is: Hybrid

Main responsibilities:

• Define and execute the portfolio strategy, aligning technology investments with business priorities, market opportunities, and customer value creation

• Lead portfolio governance, prioritization, and investment decisions across a diverse portfolio of automation, software, digital, and AI-enabled solutions

• Own portfolio performance, balancing growth, profitability, markets, and cost management

• Drive portfolio transformation by scaling complexity, improving product group, and strengthening cost advantages

• Align product roadmaps across multiple product lines and technologies, creating a unified automation platform

• Partner with R&D, Sales, and Business Leadership to accelerate commercialization and market adoption

• Translate technology, customer, competitive, and industry insights into business cases and recommendations

• Safeguard and strengthen the portfolio’s intellectual property position by aligning innovation, technology differentiation, and competitive protection with cross-functional leaders

• Build and develop portfolio management capabilities while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning

Qualifications for the role

• 12+ years of experience within industrial automation, information technology, or related fields

• Proven leadership experience in consulting, strategy, product management, or business leadership roles

• Demonstrated track record of managing complex global product portfolios within industrial technologies

• Experience driving investment decisions, business cases, and lifecycle management for software and technology platforms

• Solid understanding of automation systems, cloud infrastructure, and digitalization

• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead at senior levels in a highly matrix environment

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
